Marlboro Lites are a joke....they're heavier thn most regular ciggies...but get this....an ex of mine would smoke Marlboro Reds!!...these things were so strong, one drag and my head would be spinning...but she would tear off the filter, and the last 1/4 of the cigarette, and smoke them that way....suicide with every drag!!...
For those still smoking: A little graphic experiment:
Take a large drinking glass, turn it upside down and blow cigarette smoke into it...then put it down flat on a white tile, say in the bathroom or kitchen....and leave it until all the smoke has disappeared. When you lift the glass after say, an hour, you will see a perfect circle of gummy thick yellow tar that you can run your finger through.....that's the poison you put into your lungs with JUST ONE DRAG!!!!!...now multiply that by 20 times, and you get a good idea of the tar in one cigarette....When I did this experiment, I was smoking Marlboro Lites...if you haven't tried this little experiment, do it....it will shock you.
I once had the luck to go fishing in the channel off Zanzibar.....among other smaller fish, I hooked a large Lampuki....the first sign I had was a tug that almost took the rod out of my hands.....seconds later, this unbelievable irridescant creature clears the water, and does a dance on it's tail....in the sun, it shone all the colours of the rainbow, mostly a brilliant turquoise......I won't bore you with the minutaie, but it was the fight of my life....when we finally hooked this thing aboard, it was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen....within half an hour, all it's colours had gone, and it changed to a matt grey-black....I felt like crying...
Imma, here is a simple search-result on insomnia....you are right, it is a common side-effect of nicotine withdrawal...
Smokers often complain about the inability to sleep after they quit smoking. In fact, sleep disorders are a common side effect of smoking cessation. It is due to the nicotine withdrawal from the body. Also, there may be some people who might sleep more during the withdrawal period. But in most of the cases, people suffer from insomnia. This is more prominent in the first few weeks of smoking cessation. Below are some of the methods to fight insomnia naturally:
Thankfully I have no unusual fears or phobias....but i know someone who suffers from Agrophobia, and I came to know how debilitating such phobias can be...
Description Agoraphobia is just one type of phobia, or irrational fear. People with phobias feel dread or panic when they face certain objects, situations, or activities. People with agoraphobia frequently also experience panic attacks, but panic attacks, or panic disorder, are not a requirement for a diagnosis of agoraphobia. The defining feature of agoraphobia is anxiety about being in places from which escape might be embarrasing or difficult, or in which help might be unavailable. The person suffering from agoraphobia usually avoids the anxiety-provoking situation and may become totally housebound.

Yeah, eating more is an absolute natural reaction....was speaking to a friend yesterday who admitted she took up smoking again to help her lose weight..!!...Look at it this way, I would MUCH rather be 5 kilos overweight and be smoke-free, than be thinner but smoking....and I think most non-smoking men would feel the same way regarding a partner...much strength to you amiga!..
Radders, yesterday I went into a fish shop here... couldn't believe my eyes....there were creatures there that I never knew existed!!....all fresh...this huge black fish with eyes set like bulbs on stalks on it's head...unbelievable...you know, the sort of eyes that follow you around the room...!!.. So I bought some fresh dolphin fish, which the maltese call Lampuki...brilliant.
