Green...and I go all gooey. Blue...good also..with dark hair especially. Grey? Yup, fetching also...I like. If you have violet eyes expect an immediate marriage proposal!
I one met a girl with almost black eyes...such a dark brown...and she looked at me in such a wonderful way...I almost fell into her soul...amazing.
I feel the need to remind myself often of the pitfalls of lapsing into narrow-mindedness, after all, it's so easy to do if we watch films, read newspapers and spend too much time with ignorant people!
We are of the same family although displaying differing personalities and opinions, we treat others in the same non-judgemental way we'd hope to be treated.
Is judging criticism? Well, a judgement involves the personality, whereas criticism is more pertinent in regard to their views and opinions I would have thought.
I think I am, up to a point. If you liken open mindedness to being available to different possibilities, then for sure, although practically minded these days, I like to look at the future in those terms.
In terms of it's application to people, I'm aware that a differing view is often the route to enlightenment...even if not shared with the holder of that view. Understanding an issue needs an ability to consider any situation/scenario from different angles, and I'm sure that I for one need outside input when this is the case.
Opinions open eyes of perception and help us understand our fellow man/woman, amd accept them for what they are. Narrow mindedness is the opposite, and lends itself to belligerence, ignorance, and a lack of civility...judging unneccessarily and without compassion.
