The most famous claimed edition of Mother Shipton's prophecies foretells many modern events and phenomena. Widely quoted today as if it were the original, it contains over a hundred prophetic rhymed couplets in notably non-16th-century language and includes the now-famous lines:
The world to an end shall come In eighteen hundred and eighty one.
However, this version did not appear in print until 1862, and its true author, one Charles Hindley, subsequently admitted in print that he had invented it. This invented prophecy has appeared over the years with different dates and in (or about) several countries (for example in the late 1970s many news articles about Mother Shipton appeared setting the date at 1981[citation needed]). The 1920s (subsequently much reprinted) booklet The Life and Prophecies of Ursula Sontheil better known as Mother Shipton stated the date as 1991.
Among other well-known lines from Hindley's fake version (often quoted as if they were original) are:
A Carriage without a horse shall go; Disaster fill the world with woe... In water iron then shall float, As easy as a wooden boat.
My Father who had throat cancer ate only ensure liquid nutrition, whole foods put into a blender, baked potatoes and water the last 2 years of his life. Yes I would date a woman who is consuming liquids only. Might be a little awkward going to restaurants though.

Depends on the boat. Would like to sleep in a Haven Suite on the Norwegian Getaway, a Owners Suite on Royal Caribbeans Allure or Oasis of the Seas, a Spa Suite on the Carnival Dream.
I first came here last November. So far I met a nice Woman from Vienna Austria which is what I was looking for as a e-mail pal. Then I found new music that I like on the post what your listening to threads like Ellie Goulding, Indilla, Connie Talbot, Lenon and Maisy, just to name a few. I love classical music and am able to post my favorites on the Classical Music Group. I lost my Father a couple of months ago and find the Forum posts very funny and therapeutic. Also having fun posting South Park song videos and still haven't been kicked out. Finding lots of friends on the Forums as well. Also learned about the bad things in the Koran on the forums and found some websites that point out what books they are in and what chapters and verses that say things like the Jihads and other bad things.
