I quit 6 and 1/2 years ago...funny how life becomes easier to deal with now compared to drinking and not dealing with it.I partied like a rock star for years.I don't miss it.

In the paper today,I read an article how men vote.Alot of men have a who-would -you-rather -drink-a beer-with frame of mind in the general elections.Yes...they say we seem to put our beer goggles on when voting.Asking male Obama supporters what they would do if Hillary won..many said they would cross the line if it was Hillary on the ticket. Do you think men vote in the end with the Beer Goggles on? Or,who-would-I-drink-a-beer-with frame of mind? Do you think this could be true to some extent?
Tom, After just watching NBC..McCain said it was'nt right to try and work on even a V.P. until now..after he became the GOP canidate nominee.
Today he got a presidential endorsment.Something no DFL will get.I'm sure they would'nt want it but it still counts..big time.

Another thing I wanted to mention here was I heard some rumor that in Texas,some GOPs crossed lines to put Clinton in front.The idea being...Clinton would be the beatable one for McCain.

There does'nt seem to be any stat experts on how many crimes and deaths have been thwarted because a carry and conceal law biding citizen just showed an angle of his gun to change the criminals mind.This may be called brandishing without even pointing the gun but it works.This worked for me late one night with 3 guys following with an agenda...and it was'nt to become new friends.Their direction changed instantly without any complaints.
As for pepper spray...yes it works.When they are up close and only with one of them.If they rush you you could be in trouble fast.That's why most police have a 20 foot circle of danger when investigating.Notice how they hold onto their guns in this range.It let's you know they are prepared and aware.You'd be suprised how fast someone can run up to you from 20 feet or less!Don't EVER let them pull you around the corner or bushes or the back room.Only bad things happen from that point.
