RE: Good Nght/ Morning thread

And so to bed,g,night ya aalll.

RE: Am I too ingorant?

What,s important, surely,is that at people are at least trying to commnuicate in a spirit of community. I,m English born Irish bred, now living in the south of Spain. Whenever I can I do try to practice my Spanish, and yes it is difficult to express yourself in a foreign language. However, I have a much better grasp of nuance in English than Spanish, so sorry but English it is.

RE: Good Nght/ Morning thread

gday antipodes.yay

RE: Good Nght/ Morning thread

And another thing...what exactly is common sense and if it,s what I think it is then why is it so uncommon?peace

RE: Good Nght/ Morning thread

Yeah, they paved paradise and put up a parking lot

RE: Good Nght/ Morning thread

Define Real World.

RE: Am I too ingorant?

I,m not always nice, in fact I,m not always anything.I can be cutting, gentle, brutal,sarcastic....I can be so many things, but I,m never sarcastic just to hurt someone.Everything I do is a response to what is happening to me, inside and out at any given time. I can justify everything to myself. I know who I am, I know what I am and I,m not unhappy with the result.

RE: Does the weather affect you?

it,s true that we are in a constant state of flux and we are changing and being changed, but I suppose what I was talking about was the itness of being a man or a woman, or whatever, you know.

RE: do opposite's attract

Learn to change the things you cannot accept and to accept the things you cannot change.

RE: Does the weather affect you?

I,m not in the med, but I know what you mean. And isn,t it great when you can make up your own pictures with those cloud formations. They,re like some far off land that you,re always heading off to, but somehow you never get there. It,s the promised land. And you,re right about those shifting colours. And backlit skies I just love. And then slowly it dies away to darkness, although it never actually seems to get really dark, not like in the uk when it,s like the whole world has died.

RE: Does the weather affect you?

Why is it you lot always want to change us lot. I mean I am what I am, you know. How many times have I heared "you better change". It,s like telling a dog you got to be a cat, you know. And you know what happens, as soon as you do try to become what someone else wants you to be, then they ditch you for not being what you were.

RE: Does the weather affect you?

Ok, I like the defense of hippy and getting blown off the point, but I aint gonna do more hippy stuff unless someone else wants to go there. But if we do, then we get to change course as well and anyway maybe we,ve run out of wind.

RE: Does the weather affect you?

Ok, maybe in some folks you can see certain signs, and I really do like the wisps and dribbling, love it in fact, but that,s still not it you know, or at least not quite. I think what I,m trying to say here is that the wisps and dribbling bit is all going on inside, you know. It,s not that people are really wisping and dribbling, it,s just that that is what you perceive. So in fact, maybe the loopy is not the one I,m looking at, it,s me, kinda thing.

RE: Does the weather affect you?

Yeah, ok sorry about that, gimme another word for trip. I think that,s the only hippy-ish word I used. But let,s stick with the wind and not get blown off the point.

RE: Does the weather affect you?

You can,t see loopy,ok.You can feel it. You can tell others and they tell you, but you can,t see it, like you can,t see the wind.

RE: Does the weather affect you?

No,the sand we get isn,t red, it,s kinda like your normal beach sand. Anyway, the sand is not the point. The point is the wind which brings that sand over also makes us all a bit spaced out. I mean I don,t mind the sand, you know, I don,t mind being blown into next week, or Oz, you know. It,s just that I get this kind of unasked for trip, you know.If I wanna trip I,ll have some vino (hic)roll eyes

RE: Does the weather affect you?

Here in the sunny south of a Spain when it,s windy lots of people go loopy, how wierd is that! Didn,t believe it myself til it got windy. Can,t explain exactly what it feels like except it,s a bit like being out of yourself. Down in Tarifa, where it,s wind heaven, the place is full of windblown cranks. Most of them take up kite surfing, that,s what I did,
doesn,t help of course, just scares the s?!t of you. Bit draughty round here today so I,ll have to go take something for it.
