RE: Who's viewed me list

Absolutely!

If a woman who is looking for men views other women, it is not shown. If a woman is looking for women, then you have her as a visitor. But all women may vote for other women's pictures. They have these regulations somewhere on this site.

I do not wear mini skirts either, but I do wear shorts and feel very comfortable doing so! After all, I live on the seaside, half an hour from the beach...

RE: Who's viewed me list

dunno

I often view profiles of both men and women when I see an interesting post in the forums, so I just want to have a look at the author and what he/she has to say... nothing more, just curiosity!
confused

When someone views me, I usually "return the visit".

You need not open the profile to email/flower/IM someone, it can be done right away from the search page or when you check who is online.

RE: is it more difficult for educated people to find a partner?

handshake

Yes, I think it is, especially if it is the woman who has higher expectations and is more educated. It is not only because of her expectations, but because many men would prefer to have a not so educated and maybe even less intelligent woman by their side. Some men just avoid educated women, and maybe they have a reason to do so because many men lose confidence in a company of an intelligent and educated woman. Lack of self confidence results in depression and other problems, both mental and physical, we all know that. Besides, not all men are looking for an equal partner, and educated women usually look for men who want partners with more than just good looks. It is quite an issue for discussion...
Of course, education and intelligence are not always synonyms, but I would certainly prefer to be with a man who is more intelligent than I am just because I still want to grow and develop as a personality, no matter how old I am...

RE: What you Hate the Most ?

handshake

I agree - hypocrisy is something I hate a lot, maybe most... you can never trust a person who does not mean what he/she says... I also hate liars of any kind.

RE: What do men do wrong?

comfort

Unfortunately these "charming" looks are not always real and do not reflect the personality behind them... they are only superficial and are used to hide a shallow and sometimes even a violent personality for as long as it is necessary to win a woman's heart... I knew too many very charming men who were wearing this mask in public and were tyrants at home. Some were intelligent, others were idiots, but so very charming!
Maybe a woman who got burned by such a "charming" guy will subconsciously start looking for the opposite because she does not trust this attitude any longer and being "bad" is at least more real and true to life... it is only an option, maybe there is something deeper. Like rough bad guys being more masculine than refined and charming ones, and many women are attracted by strength.

RE: What do men do wrong?

I will only speak for myself, but I think that many ladies will agree with me...
I want to have a strong, reliable and mature man by my side. But he should be a kid at heart, and open to new ideas and challenges.
A soulmate, but not a carbon copy of myself - life would be too dull, like having a boring conversation with myself all the time.
A personality with his own views and ways who would respect mine.
Someone who is more clever and more intelligent than I am, but not necessarily better educated. As life has taught me, education has nothing to do with intelligence or intellect.
A witty guy with good sense of humour, maybe sarcastic, but not evil or bitter. Not the kind who will tell jokes only to laugh at them himself.
Someone who is honest and decent, and who can say both "yes" and "no" when it is necessary without beating around the bush.
Last but not least, someone who is fun to be with, who loves life and all the joys it can give.
Are such men perfect? No, they are not, and do not have to be.
That's what these forums are for - we ladies expect to meet the men of our dreams here... not today, maybe not even tomorrow, but we are not desperate... just let's be patient and take time!

No, of course you are not stupid: I answered all these questions more than once before, but I keep forgetting the correct answers! The bonus question was there for the first time (for me), and I wonder why I was so smart...

"Laima" is delicious, and so is our "Karuna", but the latter is a brand of Jacobs, anyway, so it is not exactly Lithuanian...

RE: Honesty.. are you?

Honesty in any relationship is a must. There may be some personal things one does not want to talk about, but not lie about them if the relationship is serious. If one expects honesty from the partner, one should be honest and not play games. If two people share their lives, they should share everything.
However, if the partner is jealous, being honest about the past or lying about it is equally as bad... because he or she will not trust you anyway. And from what I have seen around, a jealous woman is nothing compared to a jealous man!
I would not be able to deal with a jealous man for a moment, and I wonder how many women are being abused by jealous husbands for no reason at all just because they have nowhere to go.

RE: Can a woman really forget?

handshake

I agree 100%, could not have expressed it better myself!
applause

My two cents: most women will never forget if they were hurt in some way, even it happened by chance and the relationship turned out to be perfect later. A woman may understand and forgive, but not forget.
sigh

RE: CHOCOLATE .. Which country makes the best?

Unfortunately South African chocolate is not available here, but we have many European brands like Cadbury and others, Swiss and Belgian as well. I prefer dark chocolate, the darker it is, the better!

RE: Is there a way to stop the repeat profiles?

wave

I think that the profiles appear in the order as the people log in or reload their own profile page (e.g. when they browse or search profiles, take part in the forums, open or close their mailboxes, etc.), so it keeps being active and comes on top, that is, on page 1 of your search. The longer one remains inactive on the CS site, the further back the profile goes. I have also noticed it, so I usually only refresh page 1 to see all those who are being active online... I cannot find any other explanation for this, just my own experience with the Internet.

RE: Made in China

Here in Lithuania and in the other Baltic countries the food market is predominantly European, with dairy products coming mostly from the local farmers. The rest comes both from Lithuania and other EU states, also some groceries from Russia and Ukraine are popular.
Most textiles, clothes and a lot of footwear in our shopping centres are from China, so are most electrical and computer related goods. Furniture is either local or European, but a lot of stuff for the homes is Chinese made, and so are most toys.
There is, however, something that the Chinese have not yet managed to flood our market with, it is pet food! It all comes from the EU, Canada or the USA, and I even got a couple of cans from Uruguay at one of the shows as a promotion prize...

RE: Name

All the above mentioned things also apply for me!

1. Besides, I sometimes have to drive all night long, and I hate it! frustrated
2. I only have the TV in my computers... about 50+ channels from our local cable network, but I can do without the TV for weeks and months.
3. I especially hate cell phones... they always ring at wrong time!
4. I also have a stamps collection, and some more rather erratic collections, but no paper serviettes!
5. I speak about half a dozen languages, maybe more...

RE: What Happends Most in Divorce with Children?

In this part of Europe children stay with the mother in almost 100% of the cases after divorce. The mother must be very anti social to lose her children, or she has to refuse them herself. There are very, very few fathers who want to have custody of their children, the best thing they can have is see them whenever they want, but many do not want even that.
