Wow Curly....you had one of those weekends too huh? My Daughter and I went to the local Santa Claus Parade....we took the dog.....we both recognised and were greated by many of the participants on the route.....she was happy happy happy collecting candycanes from a plethera of great people.......then we went to the Dairy for an Ice Cream Cone......and after almost 2 hours outside...we were kinda cold......so we came home and sat in the Hottub and just chatted Gawd I love my little girl......can hardly wait till Christmas
Life throws you many curves and you never know what to expect from "Tomorrow". Christmas is 35 days away.....my wish is to be healthy and happy on Christmas morning.....so I can share the joy of the day with a very special someone....My Daughter That for me will be the ultimate gift.............Barry
Sure...dating is OK......some adult fun and conversation.....but for me at least.....my trust factor is gone....and 17 years of having faith in someone is hard if not impossible to recover from when that faith and trust has been broken. It will never be the same for me...Im 46...I will have no children to share as "ours" but will have to learn to trust someone with my Daughter...as she will possibly have to learn trust for me and her children should she have them. That is already a strain on a "new" relationship. Then there is the lifestyle you lived and now live. You thought you knew how to treat a woman.....but it wasnt good enough?Obviously if she is looking elswhere you are not doing a good enough job :-( I think all of these dating sites are just a place to make friends and to chat.....noone is really serious.....everyones expectations are set WAY too high because they will NEVER be hurt again. Keep advertising....there are alot of free and several good pay dating sites I belong to....there are women willing to take a chance but I suppose Im going to have to open my heart to one eventually if I want companionship and happiness.
I cant answer your question "is it worth it?"....but it might now be time to at least try.....my Daughter will be all grown up soon....and Im not gonna be a lonely old man
I have to agree with langlygirl on this one regarding raw vegetables.....my Daughter would never eat them cooked.....but raw....with a ranch dressing dip.....the platter is cleaned
And broccoli and other greens....a real tough one for kids.....I cover in melted cheese whiz....she loves it
WOW....youve been to some awesome shows Moose......Did you ever get the chance to see Rush in their early days.......I was at the New Years Eve comcert in Toronto with Max Webster.......the 2112 tour......boy is this thread bringing back memories....I may have to puff one....lol......and I Saw Vai.....but not solo....he was Frank Zappa's guitarist in the early 80's......but as you may well imagine....I remember nothing of that show
Ive been to alot......but 2 in particular stand out......maybe because I can actually remember them....lol Saw AC DC at Massey Hall....a Small Venue....Angus was wireless....got up on a roadies shoulders and did a 15 min solo wandering through the crowd......and Pink Floyd....the Animals tour at Exhibition Place in Toronto....a huge pig on guidwires drifted over the centre of the Floors and exploded covering us in confetti........What a Trip......
Gary....If you like I can give you a Dating site I belong to where at least getting together for a coffee....and often more....is the norm......but it requires Plastic Ive only been on this site for a week and have already met a few nice chatters.....but its a free site....with very few local Women.....when money is involved I find....it tends to be a bit more realistic and organized...... and there is a plethera of local ( and worldwide ) members eager to just be with a man for a couple hours to relieve their lonliness....Msg me if you like...I wont Msg you....I feel THAT to be in bad taste.............................Barry
An awesome start....up at 5....a few coffees.....got my dishes done(damn I hate dishes)....woke the Younggin up at 7......spent half an hour in the HotTub....a few more coffees.....did a few more housechores....Hey...Im Mr Mom .......and just got back from an hour walk with the dog Hope everyone has a great day....................Barry
