My late grandfather gave me his set of 5 working lobster bouies he brought back from his vacation in Vinalhaven, Maine. Strange as it sounds, those bouies always caught my eye when I came to visit him.
I think the terms, ladies and gentelmen, are pretentious. They really act like they're claiming to be, and don't deserve my friendship. That's why all my friends are down to earth people. I enjoy the company of people with their own quirks and desires...that's what makes them very special. God bless them!

As a photographer, I wholeheartedly agree with you. But in this day and age when photography is done on digital cameras, I'm a traditional photographer who still uses 35mm film since I was a student at the New York Institute of Photography in NYC.
I read that article. Very tragic. It must have been a difficult choice to cut off life support. I'll be praying for Laim Neeson and their children, and Vanessa Redgrave, because it's going to be a rough time for them.
