Your body is finally able to rid itself from toxins...give it a chance, eat well, get lots of sleep and just think of that fantastic healing process. Your energy level will come back once it has managed to clean itself up a little...this is a normal process....let it be
Got this anonymous one for you...too shy to post it:
Hey butterfly
Sorry to reply to your post via e-mail, I am not trying to win any brownie points. My reply can be misinterpeted by some of the negative posters.
My bedroom encounters are hightened when my partner is statisfied as well. If my partner is not satisfied I feel as if I have failed in some way.
I am generaly shy, but when I want to partake in a particular act i manage to find the means in asking for it. It doesn't have to be verbal, I first attempt to do on to my partner as I wish she would do on to me. It generally gets the message across.
Maybe that is my problem...i have been with too many younger men lately Maybe I should give Lago a chance
Just to put the record straight though....I do NOT have a lot of experience...but i seem to be making up for lost time since breaking up with my selfish lover lol
I merely wanted your views, that's all...what is the point in talking on the Forums, when people tell you you should know the answer by now and that you may have an ulterior motive
Yeah, i thought I would get a comment like that....so I ask you, what does age have to do with anything? I was 24 years of my adult life with the same person...so not much experience out of that...the most selfish lover I had came straight after that, and during 3 years I tried to make him see I have needs too...to no avail....
Maybe I should be less in control in the bedroom
Secondly, WHAT DOES MY INTELLIGENCE HAVE TO DO WITH THIS ??
Question: Are many men selfish in the bedroom? Or have I been unlucky?
I have had quite a few lovers who would actually make little effort for ME, most were just more interested in getting FROM me what THEY wanted.... and I suppose I am not good at asking...
Can I educate a selfish lover? Or should I just move on?
Jan, it was a moment of weakness, just ignore it AND CARRY ON....I did exactly the same, I gave up smoking then had an argument with my boyfriend, went out, bought a packet of cigarettes and smoked them all in one night. THAT WAS 30 YEARS AGO!! Never touched one again.
GOOD it is all about fooling our bodies into believing food is available in abundance, this way it will burn calories quicker...hence your metabolism will increase...
Marki....if you cannot eat 6 times a day you are doing something wrong. You NEED to put something in your mouth every 2-3 hours...If I say eat 6 times a day, I do not mean MEALS!! You have got to get the metabolism going, if not you will never lose AND keep off the weight. It will come back doublefold once you start falling back in old habits.
Even if you are not hungry, have something, half a banana, some nuts, anything, and try to eat less at meal times...overeating in one meal puts weight on. You need to stop eating when you are still hungry, 20 mins later you will see the brain has sent the signal to the stomach and you will be fine.
I have been very interested in health and read loads of books on the subject over the last 15 years. I would like to give you a few tips on how to get your weight down without going to extremes:
1. DO NOT GO HUNGRY!!! Eat regularly...6 times a day is good, small portions, get your metabolism going!
Overweight people often have a fear of eating, they therefore eat only 2 big meals a day and don't understand why they are fat. If someone with a high metabolism eats the same as someone who doesn't he/she will burn the calories so much quicker..ever wondered why some people eat all day and never get fat?????
2. Don't eat late at night. As a general rule you can say that everything you eat after 7 or 8 p.m. goes straight to the hips/tummy. If you are hungry after your main meal stick to fruit.
3. Drink water as Marki says, this is good, but don't drink WITH your meal, it will only make the food swim in liquid and the body won't be able to digest it properly. Make a routine of drinking 1 hour after the meal and up to half an hour before a meal. This helps with cravings too.
4. Remember that this is NOT a diet, it should become a WAY OF LIFE, you should therefore NOT deprive yourself of all nice things. So if you have been real good all day and have eaten lots of fruit and veggies...then do treat yourself to a piece of chocolate. But brush your teeth straight after so that you do not end up eating the whole bar Brushing teeth is a great way to stop you craving and thinking about 'what else to have'. I recommend you brushing after every meal to regain that fresh taste in your mouth.
5. Be careful with alcoholic drinks. Remember that they contain a lot of sugar.
6. Be organised. Have healthy snacks and meals ready, in the fridge or freezer, like soups so that you can grab something when you come home tired and hungry. I freeze a lot of things, you'll be surprised how easy it is to make a larger dinner and then freeze the rest for those unforeseen moments ;-)
To give you an idea: if possible start the day drinking a couple of glasses of water, even better if warm with lemon, then eat fruit until about 11. At 11 have a healthy brunch and eat a salad or soup again at 2 p.m. Have fruit as you like till dinner time or some crackers and make sure to eat dinner early, say around 7 p.m. to avoid you getting too hungry which is when you start craving bad things.
WHAT you eat is common sense, if you eat 6 pizzas a day it will be much harder to take the weight off. The healthier you eat the faster your weight will come down.
ONCE you are on the weight you want to have make sure you do not fluctuate more than 2 kg up or down...this way it is easier to control your weight. I can say that i normally eat the way I described above but I go out for dinner and will have EVERYTHING, starter, main course AND that chocolate brownie and NOTHING happens to me, for as long as I go back to doing my normal thing again the following day. So do ENJOY life, this is very important if you want to keep up this way of eating.
GOOD LUCK, am happy to answer any questions, within my capability ofcourse, as I am not a doctor lol
