Drug addiction. A crisis of meaning(especially amongst young people). Depression and pharmaceuticals and how a lot of the time these drugs are doing untold damage. And last, but not least, VALUES. Values are what sustain societies. Decency, Hard Work, Generosity, Humility. Which is not to say these things don't exist in society(they do) but we need to see more of them. We need to lead by example. We need to show our youth positivity, possibility, not just trying to constantly instill feelings of resentment and anger and all things negative.
Try to be positive. The implication here is that players at the highest level of intel community facilitated illegal spying of American citizens to target the political campaign of Donald Trump. Which was then used to harass and try to undermine the newly inaugurated president, with the Mueller sham and McCarthyite Russia hysteria going on for well over 2 years. If justice isn't served and those who perpetrated this fraud on the American public aren't brought to justice, I fear for your republic. In fact I would argue you don't have a republic at all. But such is the serious nature of all this, I think Barr will understand that such an outcome would be unacceptable.
For those unaware what this means, the move gives John Durham the power to subpoena witness testimony & documents, to impanel a grand jury and to file criminal charges. There could finally be culpability for those who pushed the attempted coup against President Trump (i don't want to jump the gun on this yet).
Such players are in the minority and are almost universally called out for their theatrics. As regards danger and risk of injury, soccer is right near the top. Ligament injuries; broken ankles etc., players spend more time out injured than most other physical contact sports.
They need to leave harmless memes alone. Deceptively edited video(trying to pass off as real) however is a different matter. I think all reasonable-minded people can agree this needs to be cracked down on.
High taxes means less money in your paycheck, also as far as the economy is concerned it is detrimental as companies cannot afford to pay people as much, anti-stimulus inevitably means increase in unemployment means increase in welfare payments which all means less money for other stuff...
Socialists promise the world and can never deliver it... The fact is to generate more wealth you have to have an environment conducive to business and growth. Which is good news for everybody. On the other hand, socialists promise all this stuff and will inevitably breed resentment as taxes are really high and failure and dejection follow as people struggle with expenses and mass unemployment. Of course people are 'cared' for on a basic level with welfare programs, but really it's a way of keeping masses of people in need of government and makes it harder to break out on your own and succeed.
Mikey I'm perfectly aware of that... I was simply pointing out that an American saw fit to try and interfer in a foreign election... Imagine the outrage if Trump had made a last minute appeal to Canadians to vote for the Conservative candidate
Well, your boy Barry Obama isn't exactly squeaky clean here. He interfered with a last minute endorsement of Trudeau in what was expected to be an extremely close election
