Anxiety and stress are the world's number 1 killer. My biggest concern regarding what is going on right now is partisan political BS. There's a time for politics - and now is not it. Negativity, inciting fear, rampant politicization - do NOTHING to help us in a situation like this. We have to encourage calm, common sense, positivity, togetherness, and most of all to do everything we can to protect those most at risk - the elderly and especially those with underlying health conditions and compromised immune systems.
Just follow the advice of the experts. The fatality rate in China with infected patients among healthy adults is less than 1%.
Should it be taken seriously? Yes, of course. Follow the advice, and be particularly careful when it comes to people with compromised immune systems.
There will be more cases in the short-term. As weather temperatures rise(in many places) that will reduce the spread of the virus. Hopefully then a vaccine will be available by the time the next winter season arrives. That's what we should be hoping for. Now, follow best practice guidelines and like i said be particularly careful regarding people with compromised immune systems. Common sense.
I'm serious. Valentine's Day can be a difficult day in the year. Maybe reminding you of hurtful memories. Or simple loneliness sets in because we don't have what we desire...
But we all do have a lot. And if you do one thing today, make sure to show YOURSELF some love
