We are so arrogant to think that we are more important than the Earth as a whole. That it is there for US and us alone.
It's not, it lives despite us, unaware of us as we are unaware of, say, our gut bacteria.
Whilst I agree that we have brains enough to notice our impact on our 'habitat', our attempts to reverse that damage have nothing to do with 'the Earth' and only to do with ourselves. We have woken up and realised that sleeping in our own excrement isn't so nice after all. That's good, I'm all for realisation and change, I'm part tree-hugger myself, but I'm not so deluded that I think we can significantly change the Earth.
And Carlin didn't say 'let's pollute'. He said that our pollution will not impact the Earth, just some of the things that rent its surface. The beautiful ball will continue on its merry way without is...
Everyone can find a 'lucky' photo, or choose photos that reflect how they want to be portrayed. In that sense, they all have no meaning.
I have no illusions. I know I'm average-looking and of silly character, so I post as accurately as possible to relect who I am.
I'm also fully aware that the chances of meeting anyone are as close to zero as possible, so why try to be something I'm not to impress people I won't ever meet?
So maybe, the worse the photo, the more honest it is - making Tru and Dedo, the most honest guys on the site!!!
Not seems - fact. As far as I recall, there is only one 0% house edge bet in the casino and 5hat ls the odds bet in Craps... it's not even marked on the table. Slots have around 2 to 15% house advantage and roulette is 2.7%, unless you are doom enough to play American Roulette with is around 5.24% house edge. Poner is a different matter. If you know more than me about the game, the mathematics and can read people, over time you will beat me. It's a fairer game and the house just takes a rake.
Basically, if you want to make money in a casino... own the casino.
