RE: How Do u Keep a Friend?

Yes, you’re absolutely right, Track.

Hate losing a friend over a trivial matter....but then again, being good friends, we’d know of each other’s ‘momentum’ ?

As long as there’s no malice and bad intention, I don’t let a lot of things bother me.

Hope you’re enjoying your weekend, Track cheers

RE: IT'S YOUR FIRST DATE

Thanks, Jhen.

I’m glad I’ve finally found someone, after kissing a few frogs *ribbit* grin

RE: IT'S YOUR FIRST DATE

I’ve not been on a lot of dates since the breakdown of my marriage.

One lunch date. He was flying in from Indonesia where he had some business prospects and decided to make a pit stop in Malaysia to meet me. We had a very nice lunch and few laughs. He then boarded his flight back to Sydney.

Coffee dates. With a Kiwi guy who was already residing in Malaysia. Was in an on-off relationship with him for more than a year. Didn’t work out.

Art came into the pic after that. He chose to stay. smitten kiss

I wouldn’t go out on a date if I’m not comfortable with the guy. For him to even have a date with me, he and I would’ve chatted for quite some time and some kind of trust should be formed before I even agreed to meet him.

Also, some form of attraction must have been established as well otherwise why would I go on a date with him?!?

I trust my judgment and instincts. Them men I’ve agreed to go out with would not be as to be so petty as to, “Ok, now that I’ve paid for this date, I’d expect you to sleep with me! Mwahahaha!!” More often than not, they’d have to fend off my advances!! rolling on the floor laughing

RE: Do you practice meditation/ mindfulness?

I know meditation is very good for one’s mind and body but I can’t seem to tame my wandering mind when I tried it! doh grin I’ll try harder next time, I promise laugh

However, when it comes to mindfulness, yes...I try to incorporate that in my daily life. I try to impart that knowledge to my kids too.

RE: (LDR) Long Distance Relationship

Jhen, it’d be Arty’s 3rd marriage and a second one for me therefore we have decided to have just a simple courthouse ceremony with just 2 witnesses, probably his sisters grin

Are you still with Glen?

RE: (LDR) Long Distance Relationship

I think we won just half the battle. There’s another half to be won....that is when I go and live with him in the US.
However, I don’t think it’d be a daunting task at all coz Art and I have gotten to know each other pretty well over the 2 years where we Skype for many hours on a daily basis.
I’m sure there’d be a bit of fine-tuning to be made here and there but nothing major.
I really can’t wait to embark on this new exciting chapter of my life. I know we’d have a few bumps along the road but that’s ok, nothing that we can’t discuss and overcome.
All I wanna say is, Art is someone worthwhile for MiMi to leave the comfort of her home and country and its yummy food for! smitten
