On a scale of 1-10, I’m -5 but Art is 5.5/10 I guess we won’t be starving, huh?
Yup, don’t think we could afford to eat out like we do here in Malaysia. Over here, my son and I eat out 24/7 for all our meals.
As for maids.....yes, I’ve had them to live in with me when my kids were younger. They’d do the cooking. I did the grocery shopping and they cleaned up whatever I bought and stored them in the fridge.
When Art came to visit MiMi the second time around in Apr/May this year, I’ve asked him to get some real nice dates packed in a box, to be given to his good friend ( an ex-colleague ) who’s a Muslim hailed from Serbia originally. Ramadhan was just around the corner that time and I thought it’d be nice that his friend, Omer and his wife, would be able to break fast with them dates.
There were so many varieties that it became almost impossible to choose! We then decided on one and took the box to the cashier to pay.
We turned the box around to read and discovered the box cointaining the big and luscious dates came all the way from U.S.A!!!
This is absurd...Art came all the way to Malaysia...got a box of dates from US for Omer and bring it back to the US for Omer! That box of dates sure would garner some more points under the ‘Frequent Flyers’ program
