Hundreds of yellow-vested protesters calling for the resignation of Belgian Prime Minister Charles Michel marched on Saturday on the European quarter of Brussels, as the movement that started in France made its mark in Belgium and the Netherlands. Police used pepper spray and scuffled with a small group of protesters who tried to break through their barricade blocking access to the European Parliament and the European Union's other main institutions. The rallies, which started at different locations around the city and converged on the European quarter, have disrupted road and rail traffic on one of the busiest Christmas shopping days of the year. Get rid of the EU and NATO. They are holding back Europe from progressing in this century.

tyrants be gone when the ppl rise up u cant stop em!
pff. a few things get mixed here. the people that want Charles Michel to resign are there for Marrakesh.
The yellow vest movement (i'm not talking about the protestors) are there for the fuel price.
In Belgium we had a weird follow system for gasoline. When the price of oil rises, the gasoline price rises. When the price of oil goes lower, the gasoline price goes lower only half, the other half will be charged as extra taxes. When the price of oil rises again, the gasoline price rises. ..... We are already years in such a system.
Off course this couldn't be kept up. Gasoline went up 0,5 euro per liter in taxes in about 3 years.
In France the riots started because the government wanted to implement a big fuel tax increase soon.
