Dutch came from German,, it's part Gothic, part Latin. Through the years we see more and more French and English words become daily language, like full-time jobs, part- time jobs, what's app, Bureau, Chapeau, Employer Recruiter.
Even some arabian words, but that's only in streetlanguage, no civilised person will say those things.
Well, face should be on the first place, for you don't know the lady when you first see her and thinks: Wow what a lovely lady. I don't believe total strangers will meet each other and one says to the other: I love you for your brains or character.
Funny thing is Russia is accused of many crimes, spying in several countries, polluting ex-spies in the UK, the shotting down of flight MH 17 and frauding the US elections. Everytime Russia says: We don't know anything, we didn't do it. How long before the world won't tolerate it no more?
well, today 3 russian and 1 ukrain person were accused. But they won't be delivered to the court by their governments. They were not the people who fired the rocket, but they were responsible for getting the misile in the Ukrain. They're now on the international wanted list and can't hardly leave their country. I guess one day they make a mistake and will end in jail. Or maybe Putin dies and a new prime-minister will change it all. As long as Russia ain't coöperating, the EU will try to get more sanctions against Russia, I guess also for the Ukrain.
Well, my native language is dutch, and most english I learned, I learned by listening to rock/popmusic and searching for the lyrics. Of course I've had many english lessons at school too. But sometimes i have to search for some words or translations. Google-translate isn't always helpful, but most of the time it is. When I am in the UK, i might sometimes struggle for words, but the longer I'm there, the more easy it becomes. A lot of words you don't use daily or regularly are easy to forget.
In my country everyone must always have an ID, for if the police stops you. Else they can put you in jail for a couple of hours till they find out who you are and where you live. Though that happens almost never.
RE: Do you really know what you want?
Yes, I know what I want.
