RE: A Jewish man speaks out.

Hello Salamuna,

I was astonished to read your reply about the money and dotations. I know one thing for sure that is that Israel receives donations , about 130 billion dollar for military support each year from the US. (Their minister of foreign affairs has also Jewish roots). It was on the tv news. But nothing was said about the sponsoring of Hamas and the billions Gaza gets so here is my simple question, what are your sources? Where did you get this info from?
It would for sure change my opinion on this crazy war that is going on in Gaza!.

RE: R.I.P. Tina Turner

Indeed she was ans will be one of the greatest performers ever. Despite her unlucky realation with Ike she managed to come over it and gave several generations great music and performances. I feel lucky to have known her as artist! angel

RE: Who said a different version of you exists in the minds of everyone who knows you?

RE: If you live in the EU or England are you happy to see your country switching to Digital Currency?

digitalisation as a complement to cash could be a blessing,
digitalisation as a replacement for cash is would be a disaster
What about the freedom of choice? professor

RE: If you live in the EU or England are you happy to see your country switching to Digital Currency?

I seems Big Brother is coming nearer fast. All because of the so called security! But is this true?
Noticing how parliaments work today I tend to believe it. Example given, the Belgian Federal parliament voted a rule on which members of the parliament could get a 20% bonus on their legal pension depending on the years of duty. This rule was voted in...2 minutes time by all the members of the parliament, except two little opposition parties. After a scandal this law was abolished.
It shows the gap between rich and poor is becoming bigger, are we returning to medieval situations??
Is the middle class becoming a tread for the high society??
On the other hand I do not believe there will be a switch to total digital currency. First the digital system is still to vulnerable for all kind of fraud and hacks! Another difficulty occurs as entrepreneurs and all kind of rich people love to defraud the tax authorities, so they move their capitals to foreign banks where their capital is safe from the tax authorities. A common way to do it are cash money transports.cool
If everything went digital, this operation should become impossible so....doh

RE: Happy birthday Michael Caine

Great British actor I always admired, Happy birthday !! cheering applause

RE: Chinese man seeks divorce from wife of 16 years after learning his 3 daughters are not his ...

The original statement is news off all times. I know the history of a famous dutch female singer who's daugther was married and did have a child who' s father was not the biological father. The husband did not known about it. A few days before the delivery of her second child she confessed her husband that he was not the father of her children. This caused a shock wave in the family. The deceived husband immediately applied for and received a divorce. In the end, the biological father married the mother of his children.

RE: Earth without humans

A paradise for life !tself!! We act as aliens in the whole global natural ecosystem, We are nothing more than a failed experiment of evolution that will also destroy itself through its arrogance and vanity but until then also the life of thousands of other organisms, an assassination of biodiversity. That is the unfortunate part of the whole issue.

RE: Where do you want to travel after rhe pandemic

This is a kind of wishful thinking. As a scientist I can assure one thing. The world will be never the same as before!! How it will be I cannot predict.
About our way of travelling, Isn't this a way of neo colonialism? Who can afford the expensive voyages? Those who got the money, the power to travel? Those are the people of the rich industrial countries and the immigrants who wanna visit their relatives every year at least!! The traveller wants to be spoiled during his holidays. He believes it is his right too. So the locals will have to serve as usual. Who is making the big profits?? The travelling agencies from the rich countries and local corrupt powerful men. The underpayed local residents must be content with a minimum salary. This difference with the cost price paid by the traveler makes the profits for the organizer. And because the taxes at the local region are often minor and run on corruption, the gain is even higher. It is funny that we Westerners like to talk about liberalism and justice for all but don't have any problem to maintain this system of great inequality and corruption. Not a least problem it is that it shamelessly fulfills his personal needs.
The Covid crisis already opened our eyes that all this travelling causes big risks but "the Money realm" kept standing upright and still dictates the strategy and the politics today.
Nevertheless people must be able to travel, first of all to relax and to discover the real situation of our fellow humans. Maybe that might change the world a bit.

RE: The most dangerous animal in the world is

The most dangerous animal?? Humanity who else? Killing billions of its own kind during history!! Also millions a year by war, violence, etc ... or by so called economic measures so the victimes may starve from hunger and diseases to death and rotten in hell asap devil!! Mostly supported by a religion or ideology. doh
So simple the answer can be!! head banger
That's our fate if we want to become a deity and being a vian, arrogant and short term planning creature. confused

RE: Corona and economical crisis

For me capitalism means overexploitation, overproduction and a blind consumation of goods whether they are necessary or not. A system base on primary instincts and emotions as greed, territorail drift, dominance, etc.. Supported by tools derived from sciences as is marketing, advertising and publicity controlling the mass. The system doesn't only fullfil needs, it even creates new needs all for one purpose: To sell more!
The consequences you can notice everyday : violence and wars, poverty, hunger and misery for "the loser" and power and wealth for the "succesor". Climate change, mass pollution of the environment by plastics, residus of herbicides, wasproducts even medication..... Orchestrated financial crises and more.
Because the main rule of the system is based on acting first then thinking it over later = how can we solve the mess we created.
If something can't be valued financially, it's useless.
It divides humans in classes, the lower in rank the less respect you get.
Great system not !? doh
The corona virus crisis showed us again how vulnerable it is.
Will we evaluate and change after it?? I really doubt it .sigh

RE: Corona and economical crisis

Ain't it strange that Italy (Europe) and Iran became the hot spots in the virus outbreak ? Italy on frontline with the immigrationcrisis and Iran the "devil" of the Islamworld (= according to the Western press!).
Russia few cases, USA no much cases (yet!).
How did these two became hot spots??
