I used to live on Cape Arago, just down from the fire station, with an awesome view of Charleston and the spit.. lol
I go back to visit friends. They miss my cranky old man schtick. Was just there before the Marshfield Tournament. Try The Boat, it moved down from Winchester Bay, and the fish is really good. Reasonable too.
I sure miss 7 Devils... I may just go to fill a couple of growlers. Snort. The Mocha stout is divinely inspired.
I will be back for the Blues, Brews and BBQ @ The Mill... probably one of my fave bay events.
Sounds like you resolved it, so... it's Wednesday, comedy night at The Mill. Usually good for a few chuckles and quite the mixed crowd. Beer is cheap, and coffee/sodas are free. It's in the bar, near the back of the gaming floor, but before the hotel lobby, and is no cover or minimum.
Go to Vinnie's and get some tasty eats (the brisket and pork are divine), EZ-Thai is also a good choice, I think yellow curry is the special tonight, then go get a few laughs. Show starts at 7, but they do several sets.
I'd also stop at Stonies, but that's a personal decision. lol.
