BTW... It's entirely possible it is a disk problem and you would certainly need a doctor, and possibly a microsurgeon, but FIRST see the chiropractor...
Ouch! Tater, that's awful. Obviously you need to see a doctor - but I would first go to a chiropractor for this. Sometimes you are just out of whack and they can help. The cost is far less. I know many are against chiropractors, but I can tell you they have helped me MANY times when physical therapy and traditional things did NOTHING...
Maybe I'm stumbling over the term "running," as it implies something negative. I think the fact that I'm giving myself two years to decide means I am deliberating more than running. It's a great big world out there, and I'm kind of excited to see where we end up...
