Well a lot of posters here do seem to be in need of anger management advice when you've finished with them, but I'm not sure you are the one they would turn to for help with it.
That is really what I'm getting at; the word does imply an opposition to theistic belief. But some people don't even consider the question of God's existence worthy of denying. It is not an act of denial, or opposition, it is merely an absence of taking it into consideration. It is for that reason that I don't like the word.

I really think this preoccupation with "the left" is one of the most worrying things we need to think about. It seems to be worst in the USA, but it is rapidly taking hold everywhere. It wouldn't matter how sensible or beneficial an idea might be, as soon as there is a suspicion that there is anything even slightly "left" about it, it goes straight out the window.
