I just read a descriptive tale about being a ..hmm..writer for their client who does not have time to followup on their dating site account. A company employs these writers and provides their profile and their rules. They give a response and if they do not give their phone number in 3 tries they move on to the next. (eventually several other rules got to the writer who quit the job).

Took off from work today since it's slow.(studying) Dad has card games on Wednesdays,so I can take him over to the Senior Center and bring a book until he's done.

In general things that are inexplicable. If they are unfathomable by me,random,uncomprehendable then usually there is some rationale or inexperience but.. Inexplicable leaves me only a one word option-weird.
It really applies to a person or their habits, I make a descriptive statement for those idiosyncrasies.
Funny you mentioned both those aspects. The two channels have been added to his main. I found he activated speech reader that talked and talked over every show, more applicable to a low vision disability.And disabled it. It did not do what I hoped, you described what feature was preferable instead but we let him explore.
In this case the TV, is limited in capabilities but can be used with my internet and the HDMI cable,it owned and paying for tons of current movie channels wouldn't make flipping through easy for my Dad. I started blocking some and favoring others for him.
The only downside might be emails trying to sell me their upscale options that are all paid viewing.
I'm reminded of that show hoarders.Nothing they saved was ever from a person that I can recall. I never understood that psychosis were they gifting to themselves.
