It would seem that if the UNO was created with the intentions of peace keeping and has fallen short of that goal.

People in northwest TN are worrying about the same thing. They say our summer was not very long and that usually means an early and hard winter.

I moved south from NYC for one reason I was young and dumb. As for the other it was suppose to be warmer in the south. No longer is that true. Snow flurries has been in our forecast already. I am sure not ready for that.

It would stand to reason that an American would want another American to protect them. Besides my son is in the military and is a expert marksman. I would want to be standing behind him.

This did not happen to me first hand, but my two sons experienced that into adulthood by their own father. Even now he will side with whatever his wife wants and to hell with my sons. Her children are accepted by my ex and she thinks her drugged out daughter even hangs the moon. I had to hear about it from my sons and it is too sad.

I had a step daughter and I took her under my wing,until she turned on me for her mother. My last ex did nothing to stop her.

Rheumatoid Arthritis will feel worse than regular arthritis and with over 150 types of RA, many of them do not show in tests. This is how I started at 34, but a couple of years ago I found out that I have Lupus. That is an advanced state of RA and more deadly.

I said the same thing when I realized that menopause finally hit. Women have been known as being old when that happened, but people are living longer than they use to. Being free every month is a blessing.

No need to be sorry. Very healthy people on average begin to feel like they are over the hill because of a number. Much of that is a state of mind.

I learned about the discovery in Anthropology and people aren't especially ready to accept this as being our ancestor. The scientific community has verified that she was an upright human like animal. Science is ready to accept the truth, but the average people are not. Darwin already made discoveries of his own an was crucified for trying to teach The Theory of Evolution.

It is ludicrous to replace a real trained police force to replace them with some private organization. The safety and efficiency of the city's laws will most likely be compromised. It would seem that if a private agency is suppose to be cheaper to employ the number of men doing the work must be much less than is required to cover the citizens.

Some time ago the New York City police dept. was in a crunch when the city could not afford to employ as many officers. A lay off ensued until the city could bail itself out. The remaining number of officers could not cover all the the areas that needed to be with a skeleton crew, but they did their very best to give the most emergic situations top priority until the officers could be called back to duty. That was such a rough time and since then there has never been a lay off.

I am at a loss over someone who is younger than I am who keeps on checking my profile. I delete him over his age and the next day he returns. Tonight he had check my profile over twice in less than 30 minutes. Of course I tried to email in an effort to find out what he wants, and he reads them, but never answers. I have decided after tonight to just quit trying to email and keep deleting him every time he shows up. His IM is blocked to all, so that would not work either.

With an otherwise healthy person I could agree, but when someone is struck with a disease that deterioriates the body, it takes a stronger will to go on.

My body started to give my trouble with doing things when I was 34. We can't pick our gene pool so I do what I can. It is like this, I use to be driven, but I pulled over.

My baby is 9 yrs. old and still very protective of me. The other one is my granddaughter's who is a year old. He is as much my baby as he is hers. So sorry for your loss.

Oh I am so sorry to hear about that. I find that all cats are adorable and each have a personality of their own.

Oh this is so sad. For many people a cat or a dog is family and not a pet. I have lost a few of my cats in the past due to age or illness.
