I think the bottom line is....she fell into all those "titles" She didn't run because she wanted all that. And I am sure most Alaskans are not even aware of that.

I am so shy in public, it's almost scary!! The other night, I went to a new place for karaoke. No one knew me there. At least 8-10 people came up to tell me what a great job I did with an Al green song. But all I could do was say thanks and smile. I could not talk at all. I even slipped out the door without saying goodbye
But once I am familiar with people, I let it all hang out. Even here on CS, I was a member for about as year before I started in the threads. I have no problem getting my point across here, now. Much to many peoples chagrin I think it's because I know I will never meet anyone on CS so I feel safe in letting my feelings known
I am actually very shy in person...but behind a keyboard I say exactly what is on my mind. So, the written word works best for me. Believe it or not, I am an introvert!!
Because they have friends on this site and they want to share their good news with them. Friends do that!! Love, for some can bloom, whether they have been intimate or not. if they are happy. Great!! if it doesn't work out...I'm sure they will share that with their friends, also
But at least they made an effort towards happiness
You asked about MOST politicians.......I would say ALL politicians are in it for the money. None of them care about the country. As soon as they are elected, they start eyeing their next step in political power
It doesn't do a thing for me....either way. But what I don't understand, and really has me curious, is why, in many men's mind, is it O.K. for women to get it on, but they are disgusted by men doing the same

it could have been fun...if people didn't have their beliefs thrown in. You can't have fun, anymore. It turns into a legalistic and moralistic sideshow
