Believers, on any side of a discussion or argument, don't get caught up in pesky thing like facts. You can tell a believer a fact that completely destroys their argument, proving it wrong, then ask them the same question the next day and you will get the same, incorrect answer.
The hardest thing to do is teach someone something they think they already know.
Now I am the underbelly of people? You don't even know me. I didn't attack you personally because I don't know you, you may be a wonderful person. Differing beliefs in politics is the inevitable in countries. Tolerance of these differences is what I think makes us good people. I am sorry you feel that way about me. If you knew me, maybe you would change your mind.
Obama's health care plan will be written by a committee whose head says he doesn't understand it, passed by a Congress that hasn't read it, and whose members will be exempt from it, signed by a President who smokes, funded by a Treasury Chief who did not pay his taxes, overseen by a Surgeon General who is obese, and financed by a country that is broke.
Shortly thereafter, they found out that a good portion of the money came from donations for the CHURCH! Ouch. I am a Christian but my lord...there isn't better things to do with the money in a third world country that is hurting financially?
If that happened to me, he would be the recipient of a blow to the chops, the hydraulic effect of which would result in a reduction of consciousness, and possibly a bloody snot locker.
The world has survived worldwide floods, worldwide ice ages, worldwide fires where there wasn't a tree left standing on the entire earth, yet, there is still life on this planet.
I know, right? Erryone here watch the weather erryday. We all become storm experts. It is actually fun until the storm gets here...and thanks for breaking some of its momentum for us...
I agree. Fate is an excuse. "life was predetermined, I had no choice in abducting that child or raping that woman"...take responsiblity for your actions. Karma? I have NEVER seen Karma work in my life...I have met the most evil of people who are doing just fine and the most wonderful people who are suffering like most of us cannot imagine.
If you are giving him credit, what has he run successfully in his life? He truly has bin a campaigner...he did nothing in the senate and has never run a business. It's not stabbing at him, just facts.
That sounds like another government run program. Good idea, if the government were honest and competent in doing what they set out to do without becoming corrupt. Sadly, that would never work.
We’ve had managed care in this country since the early 1970s, and it hasn’t worked well. It’s very, very expensive, and it’s the fault that we changed our ERISA law and our tax laws that created this corporatism that runs medicine. Wall Street rakes off the profits.
The patients are unhappy.
The doctors are unhappy.
And it’s a monopoly now. Who lobbies us in Washington? The drug companies and the HMOs. They come. And now what is the cry for? Socialized medicine. That’s not the answer. We need to get the government out of the way. Inflation hits the middle class and the poor the most. Those are the people who are losing it. We don’t have enough competition. There’s a doctor monopoly out there.
NPT coding and strict regulations from the government require more staff, a cost that is passed on to the patient, for one.
We need alternative health care freely available to the people. They ought to be able to make their own choices and not controlled by the FDA preventing them to use some of the medications.
Not only is it not that simple, this is absolutely incorrect. Healthcare costs are high because of government regulations and malpractice litigation for starters.
