well I did my census ... I dont have a problem with it. We had loads of fun and a few laughs.
I went and visited a friend in the afternoon, and said I was staying at their house, so that they had to put me on their census form they told me to frek orf..
Best laugh was the question about what were you doing at work last week.... for Shortie I wrote cleaning.. Short was not impressed, and keeps telling me the job title is Crew Member... but every time I see her she's cleaning So now in 99 years time, Short will be made public as a cleaner ...
This morning at 6.30, opened my emails for work, and thought an email I had received was from a Secretary... so I hit reply... and started typing my answer
"Hi Sweets" ......
I got a reply back ... it was the Company Director who had sent the original email.... and received my reply...
Ever had one of those mornings, where you know a Company Director has just decided that you are a total knob?
I think that our netbuddies are the penfriends of yesteryear. The internet has enhanced our interactions greatly. We can have conversations through threads, and IM, exchange pics instantaneously.
Yes, I believe that very real and genuine friendships come about, and enhance our lives.
I've been very fortunate to meet many of the people I exchange emails and such with. What I've found is that every one of them is exactly the same in real life, as they are on line.
I see it as a way that Government can obtain information so that they can ensure we have proper infastructure in the areas we live.
I also like reading all the statistical information that comes from these things.
I do understand that some would consider giving their name, address, occupation to be a bit over the top. But in the end its kinda fun to read all the info they gather....
Not to mention that info can come in handy at times, even for the little 'drones' like us.
Prowler, because I think what you're doing is just plain wonderful, popping Lookings cherry to save the sealife... I'll supply ya with some flowers for the big date..
