The whole Census idea just sickens me ...
the person of the persons who live with the person is the person who lives with the persons, but who is related to the person of the persons person, and does the person live with the persons, or does the persons person rent from the persons person persons,

So if the house is empty, and no one's there to give the form to, I guess it's null and void

Can't say I'm too worried, what with everything about us that's already on a database, just from opening a bank account, filing a tax return, using a supermarket loyalty card etc etc ...

well you could go stay in a hotel for the night, then it is up to the proprietor to record who is in their establishment, or.. be on an airplane at the recording time or on a long train trip. Or even hospital or prison!
I am pretty sure in Australia names are not kept, only statistics are given out.
In England the census was quite different as names and addresses etc were kept and are now available for genealogy purposes. Makes for fascinating reading of the 1800's and early 1900's census

You can indicate on the form if you want your details to be archived for that purpose.

per say ... I am a very private person ... I just dont think its right to pry into my life, to gather information that they will probably sell off to some advertising agency laterwards anyways ... FarK I need a DrinK ...
