RE: Does Isreal truly want peace.

Well, Scrooge, all you gotta do is convince your tribe to stop massacring innocents, abandon all the occupied territories, (including Jerusalem) and pay reparitions for all the damages they have done over the decades, and maybe people will stop posting the same old forum about the same old atrocities.

I won't hold my breath.

RE: Cowboys (and gals) tell me what... (serious question)

He'd be from Texas, he'd roam the world dodging civilization, he'd wear a cowboy hat and play a blue guitar when singing in country bars.

Along with the song already posted above, this other Willie Nelson song will complete the picture.

RE: The Toxic Mind

Nothing "wrong" with being stone sober.

But alcohol, like any sedative drug, produces a sort of euphoric feeling that is pleasant.

It also lowers inhibitions and gets people out of themselves temporarily, which can be a good thing once in a while.

Kept in moderation alcohol serves a good purpose.

But it is an addictive drug for some.

RE: Your own Metaphysical Experiment

Emoto is a fraud.
He's not a doctor.
Ne's doesn't have a phd.
He bought his "degree" at a diploma mill.

There is no Yokohama Municipal University.
There is a Yokohama City University but Emoto never went there at all.

All New Age "science" hoaxes point back to Theosophy and Helena Petrova Blavatsky the mother of all modern occultic delusion.

In Mme Blavatsky's case, what started out as a simple scam for fame and finances eventually grew into a worldwide occult delusion and spawned incredible evil.

This first series of videos was produced by the Theosophical Society (Blavatsky supporters).
As such, It barely touches on the evil that she spawned.
But it is well worth watching for anyone who wants to understand the roots of New Age insanity.

1.
2.
3.
4.
5.
6.

Now to see the incredible evil to which Blavatsky's scam led.

1.
2.
3.

The same identical sort of descent into insanity due to
occultic pseudo-science is happening now.

RE: Your own Metaphysical Experiment

The thing about cooked rice is that it won't rot at all unless there is some sort of contaminant in the culture.

The starch of cooked rice doesn't support bacterial growth.
UNLESS it is contaminated.

One way to contaminate it is to use a dirty spoon (that has been in somebody's mouth) to stir the rice or take some out.

Even the tiniest trace of saliva on the spoon contains enzymes that break down the starch of the rice into sugars that DO support bacterial growth.

And once started, the bacteria produce their own enzymes. So even a tiny trace of saliva can rot a whole pot full of cooked rice.

But without some sort of enzyme, bacterial, or yeast contamination, rice will not rot or ferment. It will just dry up.

RE: Judicial Watch List of 10 most corrupt US politicians

But having said that. They are all very corrupt.
There's no room in politics for the upright nowadays.

RE: Judicial Watch List of 10 most corrupt US politicians

Trying to select 10 most corrupt US politicians is like an ugly contest among a herd of camels.

In a corrupt situation, the most corrupt will have the best press, and the least corrupt will get the most criticism.

I would strongly suspect that the people Judicial Watch condemns are less corrupt than the ones they support.

RE: Seems to me people creat new threads and ultimately it turns

Typo correction.

CS is not a dating site

RE: Seems to me people creat new threads and ultimately it turns

What you want is moderated discussion and not a free forum.

CS is not a dating site, for social interaction, not a "think tank" trying to arrive at some sort of consensus on issues.

Conversations, whether in real life or here at CS, tend to sprout new growth.

The OP may or may not like the direction of that growth, but he/she has no right or responsibility to censor other people's wandering comments in order to make sure they follow his planned itenerary.

If someone wants to make a particular point, and block out all others, it would work better in the CS blog section, not here in the forums.

RE: WHOM AND WHERE WILL YOU SPEND THE NIGHT OF THE NEW YEAR?

I'll be on my friend Sascha's pirate boat drinking Porto and watching videos.

RE: Obama administration made it possible! Support universal Health care for all americans!

I agree. If such a misrepresentation weren't so tragic it would be hilarious.

RE: The "Health Insurance Company Protection Act"?

True but misleading.

Other times when the debt limit was raised were times when US industry was going great guns, such as during WW1, WW2, the Civil War, and the roaring 80s.

This time the debt is being incurred at a time when financial and industrial activity is practically at a standstill.

Furthermore the dollar was always strong when the debt limit was raised in the past. Increasing the debt actually served to preserve US competitivity by weakening the dollar.

This time however, the debt is being raised when the dollar is already on the verge of total collapse.

A robust economy can afford to take on more debt sometimes. Just as a healthy business can take on new debt to finance expansion.

But social healthcare doesn't increazse productivity.
If anything it reduces it.

There is no way in the world that the US economy can take on more healthcare responsibilities. It can't even pay for the responsibilities it already has.

It comes down to this.

Either the government has lost its marbles and all understanding of the basic rules of financial responsibility, or, it intends to use the new "reforms" as a way to cheat people out of their rights.

RE: The "Health Insurance Company Protection Act"?

That's right Duckrew.

As a veteran of the "reforms" of the French social medical system I speak with some experience here.

Neither the democrats nor the republicans are really concerned with improving healthcare. Quite the contrary. Socialized medicine is just another way of government taking control of private funds and the decisions over how those funds are used.

There may be a few years in which people think its working well.
But soon there will be big deficits, and medical taxes will rise more and more. At the same time coverage will be less and less. And meanwhile the doctors will be underpaid and hospitals will fall into disprepair. More and more of the money will be used to pay for the huge bureaurocracy running the healthcare system, instead of being used to pay for actual healthcare.

Insurance companies are bad enough, but they can't hold a candle to the government when it comes to waste and mismanagement, not to mention corruption.

RE: How many of the world's problems come from over-population?

It's all these right-handers.
That's where the problem lies.
In nearly all countries they now outnumber decent folks by about 10 to 1.

Something has to be done.

RE: 911...LETS GO FOR THE BANKSTERS ...WHO DUN IT

My pleasure PR.

To those who call me a "conspiracy theorist", I reply that I had no interest in politics whatsoever for decades, and didn't bother to even have opinions.
But when so much manure is being spread by those who control both politics and the media, it behooves us to speak out for reason.
And of course, to the sheeple, any voice that doesn't echo that of Big Brother must surely be a conspiracy nut.

RE: 911...LETS GO FOR THE BANKSTERS ...WHO DUN IT

And Obama is just the logical next step toward that goal.
His administration is intent on wrecking American capitalism to the point it can never recover. Leaving the state as the only motor to drive the economy.

Get ready for soviet-style shortages of everything and a currency that loses all its value for foreign exchange.

RE: 911...LETS GO FOR THE BANKSTERS ...WHO DUN IT

911 was the beginning of a major project to reshape America.

Initially it was pictured as a move to strengthen America, according to the guidelines of the Project for the New American Century, and it's spinoff "Rebuilding America's Defenses" that called for a "catastrophic and catalyzing event, like a new Pearl Harbor" to create public support for a greatly expanded military and more agressive policies. That's where 911 came from.

But even though many of those involved in staging 911 at the national level thought it would strengthen America, others knew that a few years later, it would destroy America, just as the military space race destroyed the Soviet Union, by emptying the economy of all wealth.

That is the real goal of the globalist bankers, to destroy America, the last capitalist superpower, and open the door for their direct control of the entire world under the guise of socialistic global government.

RE: Why Why Why ?????

Yes, life is tough isn't it?

RE: USA-Citizens forced to PAY Med Ins PROFITS or become criminals!

The public will find itself forced to pay high prices for healthcare that will not come anywhere near being worth the cost.

Just one more case of the controlled demolition of the economy.

RE: Bottled water losing popularity.

Here in France bottled water always comes from springs high in the mountains and has little or no pesticide, flouride, chlorine, and other chemical or biological contaminants.

My village gets its water from a well that is constantly monitored and is pretty pure so I drink the tap water at home.

But when I go to Lyon, where tap water comes from the highly polluted Rhone River, I only drink bottled water.

RE: The War they need-IS the War you Get

But nobody would intentionally hoax a nation into war just to gain extraordinary wealth and power, would they?

They could never hope to get away with it, could they?

RE: Seems to me people creat new threads and ultimately it turns

Friendly chatter within posts is hereby FORBIDDEN!!
That oughta do the trick.

RE: Now The Civil War Is Over here in ......

A civil war that results in a massacre of the rebels is not exactly something to celebrate.

I'm glad the fighting has stopped.
But I really doubt if you could say that there is "harmony".

RE: Should I even be here?

Forgiveness might take years.
You don't want to wait that long to date.
As soon as disgust has totally replaced pain, you're ready to go.
