I was with an Amazonian tribe that shrunk the heads of there ancestors. It was creepy alright. The snakes ,lizards,and yes the creepy crawlies are numerous, but usually ok if not provoked. The mosquitos were the killers down there(never stopped biting)NEVER! AUGHHHH!!! LOL

I have traveled to 20 countries on 4 continents, and the one thing I enjoy most is indulging in the culture and the people. Native indians in the jungles of Panama, Bedouin goat herders in the deserts of Saudi Arabia, and Bush people in the Amazon. All great experiences. A little scary at times , but nonetheless , very memorable experiences. I also ate,danced,and in some cases lived with these people. It gives you great appreciation for what many in the modern world take for granted.

We did video chat for about 6 months, and I highly reccommend it before meeting someone in person. Shyness can also be a defense when faced by someone with a very strong personality. It is taking a step back to see if this is the same person you've been talking to for however long??

I have met one woman on this site in person, and I must say there is a bit of awkwardness. I probably was a bit more shy when I did meet her, but I don't believe on here that I am shy. Nor were my correspondences with her of the shy variety. We did have a great time, and though it didn't work out it was a wonderful experience.

I think you just hafta be yourself, and be truthful and honest about what you want in a partner.

13 years of marriage to have my heart fed to me, and now 3 years of divorce. Though I feel I could marry again someday it would take a very special woman to make me walk the aisle again.

I married for love and a companionship, and I wanted that to last for 50 years. I believe that the companionship you feel in loving someone is much more important than just the love on its own.

Caught a 2 ft - 6lb. Largemouth bass when I was 5.

Bounced off the side of a plane at 200 mph.

I would take any dog pure or mixed...Though my dog Bus is a pure bred English Bulldog. Bulldogs are in my eyes the best dogs that have ever walked on four legs. They are compassionate,loving, and austere.

Yes...

As long as it gets the situation off of your mind for a short time ...why not...And if you know how to have fun when you are drinking it also helps. Some people go out angry, and that just doesn't work. You hafta' have the attitude that you are gonna have fun and put her/him behind you. My 2 cents.
