No... I don´t drink much anyway...but alcohol is a depressant and a mood enhancer... if I was feeling miserable over somebody not being in my life... the last thing I would do is drink.

I did many many years ago.
When I woke up in a police cell in Vancouver after being picked up from the gutter at 4am and not knowing who/where I was due to being so out of my head.
I realised the only way forward was up, hit the booze on the head and started to get back on track, guess I needed a short sharp kick to get my life in perspective, It Worked

Being hopeless with alcohol, that is, I tend to fall asleep after very little, thus never quite reaching the state required to "drink someone off your mind".....
.....I think it would probably be more productive to just go out and find someone else!!!

But the onslaught of REALIZATION,,,,,,,I think some can't handle it and they numb it that way, the onslaught that is, during the hangover you really don't give a flying................well you know.

Yes, I did-why? Because I just wanted to go out and not have it all on my mind-was feeling sad and wanted to quit thinking so much about why it went wrong, so I did and I had a blast-think I danced it out of my system.....lol..
