Yes, dont be put off by Aussie humour...or others ignorance!!
You'll have an experience you will never forget and which will be different from any you could have in other parts of the world.
It is winter in July in the Southern States, but if you want warmer weather, its perfect in northern WA, in the Pilbara and Kimberley as well as North Queensland.
Wow divorce in Ireland....my parents split up when I was 10....many year ago in Ireland. My mother had no status for the rest of her life, as my father went to England.
Pesh, As other posters have said, some men just can't help themselves.....I don't think that trait is restricted to Australian men. Also the Internet seems to encourage people who are only "playing" and they are best avoided.
Put it down to experience and move on....there'll be someone for you sooner or later, but please don't give up on Australian men, they're not all like the one you met.
I'm the optimist....the glass is always half full. I believe that from every bad thing comes something good. I want justice and equity for everyone and am prepared to do something about it (and sometimes do). I try to think the best of everyone and think about why some are negative about themselves.
Thats me....but I have been interested that quite a few posters have given a very negative view of themselves(yes, I know some are in jest!), but it is sad that so many think so little of themselves.
Kizzy...they were arm in arm, having a pleasurable time....is that so bad?
I have a good friend with whom I had a relationship many years ago,,,,,she asked me to lunch some weeks ago....she wanted my advice about family matters, we had a lot to drink, walked back to her place, I embraced her and kissed her....we went our ways home.
I went on a cruise once....in 1969, from Southampton UK to Perth WA....cost me $20, rest paid for by the Australian Government, 5 weeks of fun! One of my best holidays!! Good value too....
Yeah, but hang on....dont they find men though...so some one is benefitting (some man, that is). So how do you reckon that?
Time is certainly needed, but luck must play a part....like, being in the right palce at the right time. It would make an interesting study.....baybe for my PhD thesis
I did and it was/is great, we're good friends and I'll go back again, maybe later this year. I had other reasons to go, though, as well, so no loss if she slapped me!
Claudya, its been interesting to see the variety of responses and I liked the fact that you showed real interest in people's answers.
RE: what your name mean?
Mine is Peter = Rock....I believe its something biblical, but I'm not sure I want to know that
