Right now, I couldn't consider relocating because of my sons. And I've never dated anyone outside of America. I wouldn't be adverse to it, and I appreciate the friends I've made here from various cultures, but it would be difficult to make such a long distance relationship work over time. Kudos to those who do it. wine

It doesn't really matter to me because the point is that you have to be able to identify with the culture of the person you want to be with. I'm from a very small island, so relocating is kind of a natural thing to us. We go abroad to study. We go abroad on vacation. Some go abroad for their health. So, why not go abroad and relocate for love. heart wings

u talk about these as if they are good bdands of some car , or shoes or somthin.. human beingscab be good or bad no mater where they come from..my anticipation: you might be in for disappoitment..good luck anyway..

Welcome onboard mandyyy. What you say is true and is one of the reasons I posted this poll. Your correct in saying people are not cars, because we really are denying ourselves perhaps golden opportunities.

But I would just add that culture can play a part in the decision factor. For example a person says I like Asians, perhaps feeling an affiliation to the customs and traditions of that land, in that sense it can be nice because it is an indication they will respect the deeper side of the person.

Every nationality is interesting. The thing u have to do is to have partners who live far from U.

I dated an Austrian guy about a year ago but it didnt work out - unfortunately he had lots of personal issues that I could only find about after I was in Austria. But Im safe back home now ;)

I'd love to have a Norwegian cutie to fall in love with me...

Hi, I'm not sure if I could understand your question properly...
I can say Austria is a very beautiful country and the guy Im talking about in fact lives your city, Salzburg! Oh wow, what a gorgeous city! Maybe you know him, Salzburg is not that big... hehe
But HE has personal issues, not the country, of course! ;)
Furthermore, his friends have issues too, that was a quite weird group... A girl I met there told me that I was unlucky to "fall" into a problematic group, she told me there are nice people in Austria... lol
(And I agree with her, she's one of few nice people I met there)
