Well, they do less harm than us, that's for sure. As we're pretty much the only species which maims and kills for pleasure, makes you wonder who the real animals are ........
I don't think there's anything particularly wrong with your own company or keeping your own counsel, but I suppose the trick is not to become insular.

You don't need to live your life at 100 mph to enjoy it, and the key words there are YOUR LIFE - it is what you, and your circle, make it. Remember - a true friend is one who will listen when you want to talk, not when they want to listen.
