escapism is truly a treat for one who is not strong enough to tackle the daily struggles of real life.. but how does one stop herself from indulging in it too much and forgetting the existence of one's friends, family, future friends and family.. etc..moping

Hell no not this chickie....................christ I spend enough time in books, typing etc. When you go out make sure you enjoy that time away from it. You know it doesn't come often G.

Go for an early morning coffee by the water, even simple things are good.

Go down to skid row, take a look at the homeless, the drunks & dope addicts, and the mentally unstable.

Come back and tell me how difficult you really have it..wink

Immediate professional help NOW and don't wait. There is no shame in it. I mean NOW and not tomorrow!!

You sound like me 20 years ago and I went for help and it worked.

Don't think about it just do it. It won't hurt but just might help.sad flower comfort hug

If you want to get out of your self-indulgent soliliquy, resolve to do something for one other person everyday. Justfiy your existence once a day by being useful to someone other than yourself. it works!..wave

I see you require labels, I know labels are great for those with no capacity to think for themselves. I am whatever you say I am...

If other peoples misfortune makes you feel more fortunate...then that's your own living hell and I'm not the one to deprive you of it...carry on... dunno
