Hmmmm...Well, I read your profile. What makes you extraordinary? Many, many profiles say the same thing, with the exception of your being honest about having a lady of interest in your life. For that, kudos to you!!

To answer the question; respect is respect, whether it be a week or half a century into a marriage/relationsip. As another poster said, 'Do unto others, as you'd have them do unto you' (in all aspects) and you'll see that your life together is so much smoother. Love and respect go hand in hand, and without the combination, the relationship is doomed from the first hello.

WhatUWishFor, That is a brilliant idea and like you said, WITH STIPULATIONS!! One problem would be, how to decide which 40 million get the million....I say let the computer pick 'em!! But the ones that make above $50,000 a year aren't eligible. I'll have to think on this and figure out why Pres. Obama hasn't though of it. He is pretty sharp and does have his ideas in the right place. Maybe we should write to him??

I know where you're coming from AZ!! Same here. I wonder WHY men/women even bother to take the time to fill in all the information and then don't try to connect with anyone and ignore emails. Especially the ones within my own area. I find that pretty odd, myself. Maybe they think I'm too upfront and too picky. If that's the case, fine, don't write or reply!! It's not 'the site', it's the people who are on it. I think a lot just like to 'be heard' on the forums. JMO. My best to you in your endeavor to meet the one for you, AZDesperado!!
