RE: Ladies....Would you date a guy who is unemployed?

very good question! Yes money is needed to live on. It doesn't define a person though. And a guy with a lot of money could be getting it selling drugs....Would you date him??? No need to kick someone when they are down.
I would date someone without a job as long as they were trying to find a way to provide for himself. I wouldn't mind buying the coffee a few times. But those with not a lot of money find interesting money saving ways to have fun. Doesn't take much $ to rent a movie and pop your own popcorn!
If you like the person you like them. Just don't rush into anything like the "M" word till you both are stable enough.

RE: HOW AND WHEN DO YOU END THE RELATIONSHIP?

i was with someone for 15 yrs. married for 5 of them. No kids so I can only give opinion on that. Things started to slip after we bought the house. he seemed to give up on life and we tried councelling together and seperate....didn't work. he wasn't willing to do anything to help marriage out.
If you have tried getting help and your spouse isn't trying then why not try a seperation. Then she can see what it is like without you and if she will make an effort to get you to come back.
It took me 2 yrs of agony to make my decision to leave. I am happy now, even though I am still alone. I spend more time with friends and family.
No matter the age of kids I don't believe it is healthy for them to see an unhappy relationship. they are more likely to think that is the way it should be when they grow up.
Be civil if you leave as the mother will always be in the picture.
Some ppl who divorce get along better as friends and the kids thrive.
The decision is hard. Talk to friends and spouse about your thoughts. Might make decision easier.
Good luck

RE: and they talk about women drivers!

That is so funny.. something like that actually happened to a guy I was dating. on our second date his cell phone slipped, spilt hot coffee in his lap ,which made him jump and he lost the heater off his smoke into his lap as well. all this while driving down a back road at 2:30 in the morning. he pulled over and almost put us in the ditch doing so. All we needed to top up the night would have been a raccoon or skunk crossing the road at the same time rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing

RE: absenteeisn ca. forum

RE: Canada

I am a little prejudiced towards Ontario.....lived here all my life. But as said above. Depends on what your job skills are and in this economy right now...WILL YOU BE ABLE TO GET A JOB??????
I here British Columbia and Alberta are really nice but not sure $ for housing etc.
Reseach a lot before you make the move...i am sure you will get a lot of advice and answers to job availability and housing costs etc here.
good luckwave

RE: Only curious about women not answering emails.

maybe we should ask the programmers of this site to add a button with a pre written section for how to say your not interested. They use them for introductions. Maybe a section for easy let downs as well would be helpful. confused

What are some of the signs that someone is not who they sat they are

thats what i thought. it looks like he has taken his profile pic off this site as well. Boy I really know how to scare them away lmao

RE: what is too old

I am not a scammer. I have always liked older men.Not for their mony but for their life experience. the stories they can tell and the fact that they have learned throughout life what they really want in a woman and aren't afraid to say it.
We all just have to be patient sometimes
Good luck

What are some of the signs that someone is not who they sat they are

thanks for the help. I have recently come across a man who i have talked to for only 3 days now and he confessed his undying love to me yesterday in an email.
I don't know whether to just block him/ write thanks but no thanks/ or what. i hate being rude

What are some of the signs that someone is not who they sat they are

I am pretty new to this online dating site stuff. I have a tendency to trust ppl and cannot understand why they would lie if looking to meet someone special.
What are some of the signs that someone is being a fake, not who they say they are.
I just want to meet someone nice to spend the rest of my life with . not some freak. so any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated

RE: Anyone have dating horror stories?

i have a horror story and a good story.
My best friend started dating a guy off of Plenty of fish. They seemed well matched for each other. he was loving , kind and attentive. he liked her 3 children as well. Then after a few months he started telling her not to go out and to stay home and spend time with him. he had her to the point where she wasn't even calling me.( we have been best friends for 25 yrs)
Then one day after a bad day at work he came home and got pissed off with her. they argued and then he started getting violent. he trashed her house and threatened her with a knife at he throat. he beat her badly. it was her 11 yr old son who was able to get out of the house and call the police.9 he had pulled the phone lines out of the wall)
charges were laid and he paid the penalty. but seems he is back on the dating sites again. Ladies beware
A good story is that another girlfriend met a greaqt guy off of Plenty of fish and they are now engaged and own a farm together. they are very happy.
Just be careful and listen to your instincts. you can always get out of a situation no matter how bad.

RE: i am new here

gives you a chance to get to know your self again. work on making real friends first. don't start looking for another relationship. you need to heal first.
I was pretty lost when i left my husband 2 years ago. can't say i like the single life....actually i hate it. But i don't have to fight anyone for the remote. can eat icecream for breakfast. go out and not have to report to anyone when i will be home. That part is kinda fun for awhile. But definitley try to make friends. male and female ones. they help big time

RE: Only curious about women not answering emails.

i try to make first contact. Don't have much luck. If i get a reply and they say they want to talk i never hear from them again...i don't get it. I am who i say I am and just want to meet the right guy to settle down with.
sometimes you have to bite the bullet and just send a message or 12 lol.dunno heart beating

RE: Only curious about women not answering emails.

i agree. say more than just Hello.
a little about what you liked in the profile would be good. somewhere to start a conversation. I will usually send a message back if not interested in anyway...location / interests etc. i also believe it is just common curtisy to do so

RE: How do men feel about bigger woman?

well said about medications being apart of weight. but you don't need herbal suppliments. not here to promote a company. but i was on weightwatchers for 2 years. lost 77lbs just by changing my food choices and portion sizes. I din't really exercise. i only walked a little. My brother in law saw me losing weight and he joined as well. he lost 100 lbs but he did it faster because he exercised.
I know a lot of men who love larger woman. love to hug and snuggle and touch them all over. I am lucky enough to have found one myself.....except do to some outside reasons we cannot be together. so now i have to find someone else.
There are men out there. you just have to be direct with them. post your size. post full length pics first. they will find you.

RE: How do men feel about bigger woman?

i think that was the best posting yet.
an overweight person can be healthy. I am no blood pressure problems or cholesterol problems.
if i lose weight since i have started watching what i eat the "YEAH ME".
My sister is skinny and she has had 3 kids. Her husband loves her for who she is and the guy I am seeing loves me for who I am . It is all about personal preferences.
Just remember when you feel like you have given up is the most likely time you will meet the right person. you never know maybe you already know tham and just haven't made the connection yet.
