Okay, I have to put my two cents in. I'm going to defend myself and the 5% of my peer group who is under 21-25, but is more mature than many women out there. I say age is a number, as well, but some women have either chosen to grow past their age and assumed maturity, and some have, through events in their lives, been forced to grow. Either way, some youner women who are attracted to older men can easily be mature enough for them, if you give them a chance to show themselves for who they are..... Just my thoughts...

I wouldn't know.... I've never had a valentine date, or been with a guy for Valentine's. I would think, though, that it would be worth it if it were that special someone, or if you were with someone for several years, to have a memorable, expensive year, then a couple of less expensive years...
I totally agree, here. I prefer a man who's around six foot, just because of this reason. And I do feel uncomfortable... At first.... With anyone smaller. But as it was stated before, there has been much more overcome than height, and even I, tall lover myself, went out with a man just an inch taller than me (I'm 5'2")and was happy. Looks should not matter, honestly, and I believe that all the physical traits people mention are only preferences, not absolutes. And if they are absolutes, then that person is not serious about a true, loving, caring, lasting relationship. So don't worry.
Maybe he's a one night stand loser... Plus that, as soon as we were out of the forums, the conversation went dead. It was pretty stupid, and what's worse, is that he's one of the very few that actively seeks me out... Once again, I ask, why?

I say it doesn't matter. If what you have is powerful enough, there will be a way found, one way or another... There's always a choice if it really comes to love. Dating, who knows, 'cause dating is a far cry from love, but.... If you love someone, then you be with them, no matter what. I know that's my philosophy. I'd move around the world and back for the right person.
Thanks, catharsisecho.... It's all a matter of opinion, and I realize that, but that one, I guess, is a part of my love of photography.... And I find the color version has way too much contrast... The lighting wasn't right, and the black and white version lessens that contrast.... Oh well... All opinions.

Looking in the mirror..... Physically, I don't think I'm attractive at all (too many years of people telling me so, I suppose), and very rarely do I see anything different. The onyl features I like about me is my green eyes, and my hair when it's on a good day. Inside, looking deeper, I find that I am an overanalyzer, and I fall in love easily and I fall hard. I tend to give willingly and selflessly, which makes me get used... I am hurt easily, but I forgive fast, which makes me being used easier.... Trying to change that aspect; I'm tired of that. I guess I'm also a bit afraid of what men think, and just hoping that these flaws don't deter someone...
I think definitely someone can be too nice. Someone earlier said it was to be a "people pleaser;" I also see it as acceptance. I am six months out of a twenty six month abusive relationship. I just took what he did because right afterwards he'd tell me he loved me and cared. I did everything for him - cleaned, cooked, laundry and dishes, plus whatever else he wanted in bed or out in public. He was allowed to spend the money, he was allowed to hang with his friends, we went to visit his family. I was way too nice, accepted this all, and loved him even more for how he took atvantage of me. I finally left him when he tried to kill me one night... Long story, anyway. I learned quickly that I had done all this because I thought he was the only one who would love me or accept me, and that leaving him would be like condemning myself to be alone for the rest of my life. I was able to finally move on and find that many people found me attractive and loveable. Hehe, now, to find the right one.... My point: There are a lot of way too nice people. They don't realize that what they do is... Well, not really, wrong, but uneducated... Naive... If you happen to find someone like this, and are attempting dating them, please, don't take advantage. I guess wht I'm saying is be careful. There are the extremes out there, and the way too nice people can be impressionable and naive, whereas the "demons" will do anything to get their way, and use the weaker people...... Yeah, I've talked too long, sorry y'all. :)
