My ex was 6 months younger but that doesn't quite fit here
The youngest I dated was 24 when I hit 40. It lasted 2 weeks and I swore I would never date anyone in their 20's again. At the time I was on a tight budget making less than I am now with custody of my oldest and she expected me to fork out more cash than I could afford to.
The oldest was 59 when we started talking to each other in Pogo. We talked for over two years before our meeting in person. For a woman who was 61, she looked at least 10 years younger. I payed for her flight and we had a great week together. My son actually surprised me by liking her In April of last year her father died and she took it hard. She pretty much disappeared on me for two months and from what I was hearing from her g-daughter plus a friend of hers, she wasn't doing well and didn't want to deal with anyone including me. After the two months of waiting I gave up and came in here. She did finally pull herself together and contacted me wanting to get things going again. She even mentioned the 150k she inherited but I passed.
When I came in here, I set myself an age limit of 10 years either way.
I found out the hard way with sending flowers once. I used to send a flower first thing in the morning to my sweetheart before I started going to ecard sites. Because I work 4 days a week I wanted to send her one on Thurs night so she could get it Fri morning which is my day off but due to my having sent her one that morning, it wouldn't let me
The only loud vehicles I ever had was when the exhaust went "south"
While I was in Elizabeth City NC years ago they got about an inch of snow. You'd think that the people with the four wheel drives would be out and about......NOPE. I was driving around no problem with summer tires on my car. I had a cop pull me over thinking I was going too fast for the conditions. I had bought the car down there and had Va temp tags but when he saw my NH license he made a remark about how I must be used to driving in those conditions. Told him what they had was nothing compared to up home
When my son Ray moved out it was For about the first couple of weeks it was like "hmmm, too quiet around here" and then got used to it. Can get stuff and not wonder where it is when I want it......snacks or whatever Now if something ends up missing, I have only myself to blame unless my youngest is here
I know that after 34 years of smoking, it isn't easy to quit. I did quit after I had by-pass surgery 11 years ago but due to stress such as being told to leave by my wife at the time I started again. Now I have a reason to quit, my sweetheart doesn't like to kiss a smoker. In 11 days I plan on being completely smoke free because 10 days after she and I will be meeting face to face. Twenty-one more days and she's here
I sometimes check profiles of those who post on the forums just to get an idea of who they are also. I do read all of the profile besides looking at the picture
This one I get in the Who's Viewed Me list I haven't seen post here in the forums.
The visits are about once a week. I'm not overly concerned over it, just kind of flattering thinking that maybe there is someone else who is maybe interested
Don't get too many emails but I do get this one woman who looks at my profile now and then. I do have it in my profile that I am getting to know someone exclusively. Not sure if I should send an email or flower saying thanx
The last show I went to was David Copperfield several years ago. What I thought was pretty neat was him and one of his assistants walking into a large fan turning into smoke and then reappearing about 20 feet away from where I was sitting.
It's not all fiction. Do some research and you'll find material that backs up what has been used in the book. Neither the book, movie or Tom Hanks bad hair will take down religion, it's already dying.
I don't like that term "trailor-park trash". When my parents moved us out to the country, they bought a MOBILE HOME and had it placed in a MOBILE HOME PARK. After us kids had grown and moved out, they bought a double wide and had it placed in another MOBILE HOME park. None of these are the type to hook onto a car or pickup and tow off, they were HOMES.
As for being trustworthy, anyone I consider a friend here but haven't met in person would be welcome in my home and then leave knowing they can return without any problems. Hope this makes sense
I have a couple of handguns, one loaded at all times with Nyclads hidden where I can get to it at night if the need arises. I also have a permit to carry concealed even if I don't very often. Several rifles, one I inherited after my father died and a couple of shotguns. One of those shotguns, a 16ga double barrel is retired considering it's over 75 years old.
I loved shooting the M16 whenever it was possible while in the Coast Guard.
RE: tasting women.............
I think I'll plead the 5th
