however, at the same time one should not really compromise what one really need and is looking for in a relationship just because the other person made sacrifices, but have the decency enough to appreciate their efforts.

I can swim but its very painful. I am seeing a podiatrist and the treatment is hot and cold therapy if that doesn't work then its the operation to cut the spur out.

I use to walk and jog 4 miles 3 to 4 days a week, but recently started getting problems with my right heel (spur heel) so cannot do that now as often. Do yoga about 5 days a week, and just a week ago started martial arts (taekwondo) twice a week for two hours per session.

very true Pat...its an experience and can be a wonderful one if people would just let go and live . Expectations can create such havoc for us humans.

I have conversations via emails with people i have met on the net and possibly will never meet in real life because of geography, but have built wonderful friendships with.

Too many people come here just focused on meeting someone to start a relationship and get very disillusioned when that doesn't happen in a certain time frame . As much as i can understand that, it makes one look desperate and that a bad sign coming from a man or a woman. Being on a dating site is not just about finding someone its also about getting to know people from all over the world as in the case with cs) and that in itself can be very gratifying . We are all connected, and on a site like this lots of great friendships are formed. Try just talking to people from around the world , there is so much intrigue and uniqueness in diversity and cultures, you will be amazed of how much you could learn . JMO

yes I met someone from this site three months after i joined and we have been dating for eight months . I traveled quite a few times to be with him.
