happens here in the islands all the time.....besides sunburn and the after affects of sunburn is very painful and some tourists are aware while others are ignorant and take it for granted that its ok to have their children running around all day in the sun without using the correct sun tan lotions and taking precautionary measures against sunburn.

I try as much as i can to keep out of the sun for two reasons, 1. i already dark skinned and i still get tanned very quietly, if i spend 20 minutes in the sun i get a tan and 2. i itch when i am in the sun too much because i have a dry skin problem (eczema) and its very uncomfortable and the medication for it is costly so ..............prevention is better than cure !

Its so sad, a very poor and economically burdened country already, very poor people and to have a disaster of such magnitude is really really sad. My heart goes out to them.....if we could all say a prayer or look for a help line or support group to at least give a $1.00 it will help in some small way to do something. I really feel blessed for what i have and the life i had and thank god for small mercies.

same here ..i have many interests ........im always looking to learn new stuff.......love languages.....been experimenting with tai chi and yoga and pilates for years............love cooking ..chosen career........keen interest in medicine and nursing.....and the list goes on ...always curious and inquisitive about antiques and art
