Okay, I pick the month, March, and the day, the 25th, you pick the year based on little things like I need to save the money for the plane ticket - those pesky bills come first!
As long as you need to - some people ask within minutes of meeting, others wait years. It just depends on the time, the mood and the electricity of the two individuals involved!
