I live in the desert - only a few miles from Mexico and only a few hours from big cities like Phoenix, San Diego and other places. The heat is intense here in the summertime and just perfect in the winter. The city is not too big, no intense high-rises that block the views, the people are friendly and there is always something going on or things you can do. I'm glad I transplanted myself here!
Out of my three boys (adults now), one has long hair, to his waist, one has medium hair, to his shoulders, and the youngest has short hair. They all look good. I don't see why men can't have their hair any way they want it.
