RE: life begins at 40?

Age is just a number - it's all about how you live your life! I know people of all ages who act as if life is a burden to them and they cannot wait to retire! I'm in my 40's and have spent my life so far living each experience to the fullest! I know individuals other individuals of all ages that are going strong and also live their lives to the fullest!
Age is what you make of it! And I make mine count!

RE: Question

Just send them an email and be honest. I've gotten like seven emails in the last two days that tell me the gentleman is recently widowed, wife passed from a terminal illness, they have a child, they want to find someone to complete them right now and so on. Nowhere in their message to me do they mention what attracted them to my profile - so i know they didn't read my profile

All it really takes is just reading the profile and seeing if you have common interests, then responding to those common interests. Be upfront about yourself and see where it goes from there.

The real ladies will reply with a note back expressing interest or will politely let you know that they are not interested.

Good luck!

RE: do you like tatoos or and piercings?

I think tattooing now days is more of an "in" thing with most younger people. Just about everyone their age has one and they want to be cool too and sometimes they just get a tattoo to be like everyone else they know.
For me, it was a choice that I thought about for over ten years and my choice was very personal to me but it isn't bigger really than a quarter and most people don't even notice it. Fine with me.

RE: do you like tatoos or and piercings?

I think it just boils down to each individual - I just got my first tattoo and it's on my foot (felt good though!)

RE: Ladies do you ever approach men online first?

nice clarification there!

I don't think anyone needs pointers on how to approach men - I just do it. I don't really even think about it - if they respond back positively - hey great! If not, I don't get hurt or upset.
Nothing ventured, nothing gained!

RE: lack of dates

wow! six or seven months without a date? try two or more years - i guess the weirdness factor in me scares the men away or it could be that i just give off the "go to hell" vibes without even trying.rolling on the floor laughing

RE: Wondering

What if out of the thousands of pictures that they took of themselves that one was the only good photo?
I mean come on! Between my eyes closing as soon as the camera flashes and the dork smile I usually have - One picture out of a thousand is batting 100 for me!cheering

RE: why.

Could be they want money, the prestige, the experience and the thrill of dating an "older man" or maybe they just think that they can use the man to get what they want.
But the same could be said of younger guys with older women.
My son actually dated a girl whose mother taught her that her only ambition in life should be to find an older man with a good job and then take him for everything she could get her hands on. Thank god my son ran away!

RE: Ladies do you ever approach men online first?

Yup! How else are you going to meet people? Can't sit and wait around for someone else to make the first move. If you connect it's great, if not, no harm. At least you tried.

RE: What percentage of CS members are crazy people?

Just because I am minty fresh with the hint of insanity does not mean that I don't actively perform random acts of weirdness!

Oh wait - Did I really mean to admit that?

Possibly - Let me double check with my imaginary friend: Kendo the Flying Dragon!
