I think they are a bandwagon party just going around looking for some to give out about without offering anything constructive. The SF TDs don't show up in the dail all the time either when they are supposed to be there so they are like the rest of the parties in reality.
Yes a lot of Irish people did go mad with multiple houses, big SUVs, trying to get one up on the neighbours. Yes the banks did offer big loans but people did not have to take them, they were adults not children. So yes Enda is just saying how it was.
Maybe he actually is short of a few bob since the end of the boom and just can't afford it any more due to debt and this is an indirect admission of that. There are too not many people swimming in cash these days.
I would think he is letting himself get ripped off. He should buy a box of 20 bottles of wine in Newry and they would probably work out at about 2 euro per bottle
Well electricity prices went up by around 12% recently. The bloody standing charges and the VAT can be a real killer. Just take note of how you use electricity over the next few months e.g. electric kettles and cookers are heavy as are electric showers.
It's much better to be single than with the wrong person. The wrong one are many and the right ones are few. The challenge (or even the luck) is to find one of the right ones.
Diesel is a precious fuel with all the things that can be done with it. It's very undervalued and in reality it's still very cheap. The major question is where is our future energy going to come from when diesel diminishes and is over 100 euro a litre?
