RE: Are you glad Ariel Castro hung himself ?

I'm not. He should have done it before doing what he did to his victims, not after. Now he won't pay for his crimes. He got off easy and for someone who was under supervision; let's imagine if he hadn't been. I wouldn't be surprised "they" saw what he was doing and wanted him (Castro) out. That creep is free like the wind now and his victims will always suffer, not get closure I don't think.

Imagine if he'd been let out after...1,000 years. He looked creepy to begin with. ;)

Good poll and question.

RE: Fat dates eat too much...are they worth the extra money ?

Hi! I totally agree with you. Sounds to me like this guy is very concerned about saving his pennies and I'm sure he has nothing-emotional-to offer. Yikes!

My Pet Peeve...

I don't know how other people feel about this, but when I see posts that are copy-pasted from here and there by members, it rubs me the wrong way; big time. No offense, but it's like reading a newspaper. I'm here to read what real people have to say. Not second hand news. I know where to go to get up to the minute news. Not here, please. Originality and creativity is worth a thousand words!

RE: Avatar: See It Now Or Wait For The DVD?

Hello AsleepINNJ! I post comments and sometimes I forget to come back to see if anyone responded; sorry 'bout that. I wasn't ignoring you. hug

The whole concept bored me. I'm not into science fiction to begin with, nor 3D, though I know a lot of working hours go into making a movie like that. So, being open minded, I took a chance. yawn

RE: Avatar: See It Now Or Wait For The DVD?

My two cents worth. I saw ten long minutes of it, yawned, and I walked out. Went to theatre next to it to see "Up in The Air" instead. That one I liked.

RE: Do you think blondes have more Fun?

I don't believe blondes have more fun. I was born a blonde, then it changed to red, then to dark. Many years ago, I dyed it blonde and I didn't like it. Men did, but I didn't;my preference mattered most as I don't care what men like. Have been back to my natural dark brown, almost black colour amd I'm much happier and consider myself lucky to be able to get away with it because I only have a gray hair here and there. It's in my genes! (No, not jeans! LOL) Personally, I think being blonde is more noticable in the dark and a step closer to gray. Yikes!

RE: checking up on CS before hiring you

I wouldn't worry unless someone has posted their name, address including phone number in their profile and / or "cookie enough" to send a link of their profile to their current or propective employer. confused

RE: How do you feel about someone NOT of your gender preference checking you out

That is true, I do that sometimes. : )

RE: How do you feel about private investigators on check-ups ?

My opinion is no. Reason is because if someone hires a private investigator early on, there's a trust issue; definately not worth fighting for, until someone knows the cold hard facts straight from the horse's mouth. Or the horse's partner... If there are doubts at the beginning / after a few dates, why bother going through dating that person? Dating is a "getting to know each other process".

The only reason I would hire one (private investigator) would be if I'd be in a longterm relationship, and suspect that I'm being cheated on, or that my partner might be implicated in some criminal activity...who knows? Then, I would certainly want to know for sure and not assume something is going on. Then I would proceed with separation or divorce, whatever the case would be.

However, if I'd be in a relationship say, anywhere from three to six months or something like that, and trusted friends would try to warn me that this individual has a very shady past, as hard as it might be, love would not stand in my way. I would tell the person about what I'd just heard, I would put an end to that relationship. I would not take any chances. Trusted friends would not want to hurt a friend's feelings by telling lies or starting rumours. Friends want what's best for us; usually.

So sum it all up, you did the right thing by putting an end to it. handshake

RE: controling partner

I had to chuckle while reading your comment. : )

RE: British women ?

You sound familiar. The women hater who had "created" another Forum...and yet, another nickname.

That Forum was a battlefield and I think was removed...

Can't blame "girlfriend" for taking a stroll to the dump...]doh

RE: R.I.P.

Yeah, I wish he would be left alone. Especially if people have nothing good to say about him. I / we didn't follow "the circus" , we weren't with him day and night, and who is the public or anyone to talk trash about him? Especially now that he's dead. Didn't he go through enough?!

R E S P E C T is the key word here.

So in all due respect, he left behind a family who loved him.

Like he sang in one of his songs, "Leave me alone!"

As the saying goes, "if you have nothing good to say, then don't say anything.". That goes for everybody. The world is full of crap enough as it is. He was a talented human being, and the only person who was perfect, was crucified.

p.s. Michael, do your best to R.I.P. for your life was smashed to smithereens. lips

p.s I quote" No offense to Michael Jackson, but I sure wish the media circus would just stop. (sorry if others find this calous, it's not meant to be.)[/quote

Well, his name was brought up more than once... Sorry if I sound callous.
