I dont doubt it mate. But as i said we are all getting screwed at the minute. Thats the point but it seems to everyone that people in the public sector think that the pension levey is as screwed as they should be. Why when the rest of us have been screwed far more? The country is bankrupt mate. Simple.

Yes. I have taken 25% hit on my pension and 10% to my core wage. Some of my friends have lost all their pensions and taken a pay cut. Plenty have lost their job and pensions. Just stand back for a minute and try to see yourselves for how the rest of the country see you. You look pretty greedy to be honest when people are out of work, losing houses, struggling and scraping.
Depends what they do. I am not saying anyone is overpaid. I am saying the country can't pay your wages so you have to take a cut. Simple. My company could not pay our wages so it was either let people go or well all take cuts to our core pay and pension. There was no decision to make. We all took the cuts right away. No bloody moaning. That dos not mean we liked it...it just HAD to be done.
Well its damn hard to get a job in the fire service so they did choose. Far easier jobs to get. And last time i looked nurses have to study for years to be a nurse so they chose too.
What % of the public sector are nurses and firemen? You are missing the point. So your arguement is nurses and firemen do a great job so don't hit any public sector pay?
What? If they were volunteers i would say yes but they get a bloody good pay packet. They chose to be nurses and firemen. I really don't buy into this crap that they are all saints and walk on water.
And they get damn well paid for it! If they didn't want to be firemen or nurses well they had a choice. Its not like they were forced into that profession so why should they get any more respect than my bus driver, shop keeper, accountant and so on.
