Well i am never happy with anything other than 1st!!!

I even throw a wobbler when our kids get knocked out of the league cup.....not happened this year or last year though.
Not meaning to rub salt in Mc but you relly need a centre half and holding mid field player. Hope Mr Hick and Gillette get the cheque book out in Jan.

But thats what i am saying Mc.....a lot of Liverpool fans i know are Happy with 4th? Thats my point. You might not be but in the boozer tonight most Liverpool fans were saying they would behappy with 4th this season. I was a bit shocked to be honest. Even in Uniteds worst days i was not happy with 2nd and never accepted it?

As you should be. I was watchin the game with Pool fans and it could not help laugh at how low their expectations are though.

4th place and no trophys and they are happy. As a United fan that would always have been a disaster season?

I am Man U through and through Mc but i recognise that those two men knew football and how it should be played. I have mates who are Pool fans and i remember them laughing at me in the 80;s when United could not win the league. It killed me but i would have never been happy with 2nd....never mind 4th!

I agree JH but i still think it is sad that Pool fans are raving about how they will come 4th! In the 80's it used to kill me to see Liverpool win everything and Man U pick up the odd FA Cup. 4th was never good enough for me then. I wanted to win the league and that was that.

I consider myself a Republican but i have grown out of "the Brits this and The Brits that". We can't blame the current British regieme on mistakes made 90 years ago and i think in the last 10 years they have started to aknowledge mistakes of them past and are slowly trying to right a lot of wrongs.
I think we will eventually have an United Ireland but it will be 50 years down the line. If witing 50 years saves even one life i would gladly do it.

They do sometimes. Its only 20 bills after all. By doubles and trebles i think he meant the first 2 winners is a double....then 3 winners is a treble...then it turns into an accumulator with 4 and 5 winners...Or 4 fourfold and fivefold as some people call it.

It will be a long time before the UK takes the Euro. Labour will lose next election and the Torys will pull further from Europe. We done really well from them in the 70's and 80's but that gravy train has left the station. We can't afford to have the attitude we owe them or the poorer new countries anything. Leave and look after ourselves. Plenty of small countries are doing well outside the EU. It is holding us back at the moment.

I agree, but with all due respect somebody else would have got your job. Unless you are the only man in Europe who can do your job i would have to say that the company and Ireland would have got by without you.
