Not necessarely. Soime low paid workers may not be entitled to those benefits because their partners have jobs and earn decent money. After the pays cuts whoever is due assistance will get it but those that are better off financially wont.
I am good thanks. You are right about the weather, i am so sick of rain. The budget going to be a tough one and the normal PAYE worker and those on Welfare will get screwed as usual. Good oul FF never let their big business buddies down.
No they don't. You get rent allownace from the community welfare officer not the social. It depends on your circumstances like where you live, the type of place you live in, weather you have family, if you have savings and many other things. And even if you do fit the bill they will probably only pay a % of your rent.
I am not sure if they are cutting the VAT rate on booze but i know retailers wanted them to. I think the price of booze does not help or hinder the alcohol culture here(Just my opinion). People will always find the money to drink if they are addicted and there is always the ceaper alcohol to buy when funds are short. I agree that this recession is going to drive a lot of people further into their drinking problem and making alcohol cheaper won't help but i think we need to educate kids starting in infants to be honest.
Think the only thing we know for sure Rob is Social Wefare for over 23's hit by 4%. Under 23's not on a FAS course it will be halved. Public Sector Pay hit by between 4% and 8%. But retailers have been campaigning for the VAT on alcohol to be reduced to stop people going North for their beer. We will know this time tomorrow though.
Was it not Lie, Tell the truth, Lie , Tell the truth....................
If my friend found out i was on a dating site i would have to emigrate. I would get stick until the day i die so i would certainly lie through my teeth.
Awwww poor didums.....are the people ignoring you? If you want something outside Dublin then organise it. JH is from Dublin so he is hardly going to organise Christmas drinks down the country! Jeez...some people.
I am argueing with LL point that there are enough jobs out there for the 12% UNEMPLOYED. She thinks that because she got a job 25 years ago during high unemployent that the 12% unemployed now can get work. Yes there are some jobs but no where near enough to get the country back to work. In fact unemployment is rising so for every new job that becomes availabe there is someone losing theirs. It is just ridicioulas to call people who can't get work picky and lazy!
Sorry for the typo. I must be an idiot cause nobody but idiots have typos's do they?
I have friends with kids and mortgages applying for over 200 jobs a week, countrywide and continant wide. They don't hear back from 99% of them and when they do get an interview they are up against 100 people.
You were lucky! I am lucky to have a job but i would never be so ignorant and disgusting as to call the 12% unempoyed at the moment lazy.
RE: Who would like to....
Can it wait till the football is over?
