you got a bit of a blockage there SickPuppy? Would you like Uncle Risky to come around and have a look, poke around, see if I can loosen it up a little .....
because it is exactly that attitude that is seeing Test cricket being overtaken by T20 and ODI's ... Modern cricket fans would like a result... It has to be a consideration for the Test game to survive, a change in attitude.
Take a risk!! Make it a challenge, it would have been a damn sight better to lose a test fighting than to fizzle out to a boring bloody draw after 4 days of decent cricket.
I wasn't that bad, obviously you did not drink enough vodka in your "water" bottle
I agree with most of the comments earlier, I have met loads of people from here and other sites, some dates went well and progressed in to relationships, that ended for normal reasons, I have also met some absolute fruitcakes.
I would consider one or two people that I have met on here "friends" but the majority are close acquaintances, and should the opportunity arise to spend more time in close contact, I am sure a long lasting friendship would develop out of that.
One internet date I had, evolved into a steamy weekend, with each of us flying to Broome, her from Darwin, me from Perth, it fizzled out and then we later lived together platonically, but keep in contact today, despite considerable distance, we discovered that we were better friends than lovers, no chemistry after the weekend of lust. However, we are close friends due to similar interests, beliefs and ideals.
The internet is an amazing tool and a great way to increase our social contact circle, however, I need to have long term close contact with anyone before I can consider them a friend, as there are aspects of my personal life that I choose not to disclose to just anyone. That trust comes with time and to me is a benchmark of friendship.
Not yet OOA, So far 6 signed up, one email Tantouna, my partner PA makes 8, depends how many workmates Blizzard is bringing, he will no doubt let you know once he reads this...
I think 10 will be a good number for the moment. Well Done!
How about a few more "traditional Irish recipes" my girl is Irish and eventually will be living in Australia, I love cooking so to make her feel at home, I already cook soda bread and griddle bread.
I got the recipe for Boxty the other day from another thread .. how about a few more... she loves Coddle.. but I am not a fan, does not mean I would not cook it for her though..
PMSL... but the word is mine... Blonde.. will you take the SickPuppy for a walk.. he is getting a bit excited and probably just needs to mark a few trees
