I COULD do without it, but would rather not. Its such a powerful tool now to keep in touch with friends and family around the world, given the cost of international phone calls now.
I also use it alot for research, and job hunting (as Im currently doing), and would be pretty lost without it from those points of view..
Concepts come from tunnel vision. Tunnel vision comes from narrow mindedness. Narrow mindedness comes from lack of courage and the pressure from society not to express views.

The fact that Im no longer single, means that I found the guy for me, and didnt accept second best. I got the best, and Im glad I waited for him.
