Mainly meaning unable to get a birth certificate, which is needed more often than not in todays world.
I tried every way imaginable to get one for several years. Never was able to with what info I had. Long story but I do not have and never have had a birth certificate.

There are a few downsides to not having that important piece of paper stating you were not hatched in the punkin' patch. One, which is a real downer for me, certain places you cannot fly to without it. Guess I will just have to keep my feet planted in the U.S.A.

Not flying is the least of your worries and there are more than a few downsides to not having a birth certificate. You should try and rectify your situation as soon as possible.

Sassy, on Ancestry. com. I found and printed my Father's death, birth, and marriage certificates. Also traced back my roots to Scotland. Have you tried anything like that?

I thought you were talking about Borderline Personality Disorder until I saw the part about the birth certificate. Surely, bureaucratic omissions can be remedied? BPD can't.
